Got to the park 10 after 10. First ride of the day was Whizzer as always. Once Whizzer was done, I decided to break my routine of going on Viper next. Instead I went on Demon back row black train. Red didn't get put on till later in the day. After Demon was Bull yellow train front row. All three trains were running at that time. Bull was moving kinda slow due to the gates being broken also it broke down later in the day by the brake run before the camera. After Bull was Eagle red train front row, they were racing today so that was fun. After Eagle, I went over to Superman and got 4th row. I can only ride 4th row but I don't want to get into it. From what I saw crowds weren't all that big today, Bull and Superman were about the biggest of the lines. After SUF was Dark Knight which was almost a walk on. I had lunch at Bourbon because I was too lazy to walk back to Panda plus I wanted to go watch parade, instead of watching I went on the trolley because they needed people. So after parade I went and saw Show Stoppin at 4:45, a few different people today but still good. Next was Viper, V2, Demon again, Batman and V2 again and went back to Eagle red. To end the night with Whizzer before watching night parade. I hope to go once more next sunday before heading out of town for my sister's wedding. All in all it was a good day, it did get cold in the afternoon but it didn't rain even though the sky dark in the early afternoon.
How long was the Batman line? Was it in the park, out the park?

Batman's line wasn't very long from what I could see,I'd say the wait was about 45 minutes because like I said there weren't many people, and Bull and Superman had the longest lines of the day. Bull's line used the whole queue and I think from what I saw Superman was the same.
Batmans line was filled all the way to the entrance of the ride, and it took about 50 minutes to wait through. Not crowded is an understatment, it was definelty crowded!
That sounds about right for middle of July crowds to early August. However, I think you are going to see that the crowds have gone down from last year at the parks because of Hurricane Harbor, and the cold weather we have been having during this summer. I think it's been a real bad year to introduce a water attraction.
Next year, the plan I think is to expand Hurricane Harbor, and I would cancel it if I were them after what weather we had this year. I am one that would say bring in a water coaster to Hurricane Harbor, or another great attraction, but based on weather I think they would be better off cancelling that thing.

I went to the park yesterday, and the Sunday before that. Here's what I can say about crowds: on both days, the morning hours (from opening to about 12:00) weren't very crowded at all. Both visits I didn't have to wait for Superman, Batman, or even Vertical Velocity. However, around lunch time, the crowds substantially picked up, and most of the coasters had pretty long lines. Yesterday, even with 3 trains, the line for Raging Bull was in the second queue house by 1:00.
I think the park (as opposed to Hurricane Harbor) has been slightly more crowded because in the cold weather people aren't too willing to go swimming.
Yeah like I said Bull and Superman had long lines, V2's line looked about 40 or so minutes, I took a quick glance so I couldn't tell. But yes Sunday Bull's line was quite long around lunch time. Viper's line looked to be about a half hour to 40 minutes. I do remember now that it did crowd up a bit around 1ish and then I think around 6 it started to die again because I went on Whizzer at 9:15 before night parade and there wasn't a big line.
I went Sunday too. Got there at 9:oopm and immediately ran all the way to AE. Rode Blue side 4 times, then ran to RB, and rode that 4 times. The male ride attendent with glasses let me reride my last ride at around 10:00pm, he is very very cool. It was more like a workout than anything else. I think I might go tonight and this time I will not forget the mosquito spray!

I was there Monday morning at opening for 2 hours and found the same thing. Raging Bull was a 5 minute wait for the first 90 minutes, everything else in SWT was walk on. Demon was walk on, Raging Cajun was walk on and everything but V2 and Supereman were walk-ons. Once around noon hit, the park starting getting packed. However, it was nice that 2 hours.
