^I'm curious if you liked The Cable Guy. Stiller also directed that and it too had a bad wrap. However, I feel it's one of the best dark comedies I've seen.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
Cable Guy is a movie I probably should have seen, but haven't yet. Sorry Director Guy.
I really don't know what other movies Ben Stiller has directed, but Tropic Thunder was a movie that relied on comedy that is usually seen in the Scary Movie series. There were some pretty large undertones from characters that reminded me of other actors, especially Heath Ledger, Chris Farley, and kind of Slyvestor Stallone.

Last movie I saw was Back to the Future. They played it one night at the theatre I work at. I only caught the last hour of it since it started at 9:30 and didn't clock out until 10:20. To go along with it, a bunch of DeLoreans showed up, and one was a replica of the time machine. I didn't have my camera with me, so I couldn't get any good pictures.
Last new movie I saw was Dark Knight. I thought it was a good movie, but incredibly over rated. It's opening weekend was easily one of the worst weekends of my life. **POSSIBLE SPOILER**
I saw the ending of it a few times before I saw the whole movie. When I was actually watching it and they were showing Jim Gordon's death, I was slightly confused and thinking, "What the hell, he's not dead, he's there at the end."
^ never mind now I feel stupid. I just saw on the news. Wow well actually im happy/sad because I wasn't going to be able to see it at midnight if it was coming out in November but now I have to wait, shucks.
Recently saw "He's Just Not That Into You" and if you like Drew Barrymore/ Jennifer Anniston, You'll Probably Love the Movie. It seems more like a Documentary than a Movie But Thats Just Me.
8 / 10
Paul Blart: Mall Cop is a Very Funny family movie. Its a Combination Comedy/ Action/ Love Story all in One. It is a Good Family Movie cause' there's almost no Profanity. (Might be a Little Offensive to Hyper Gly Cemics (sp?)) You Won't Be Bored.
7.9 / 10
Dance Flick is a Main Parody of "Save the Last Dance" and is much better than Epic/Disaster/Spartans/ Date/ Superhero Movie and Scary Movie 4. It is more Closely related to Scary Movie 1 than Any of the Recent Parody Movies.
I saw three movies for the first time in the last week
1. Song of the South (1946) - Took me long enough to see the inspiration to the Splash Mountain attractions. A fun movie for an the time. I get why Disney has not released the movie on VHS or DVD in the US due to the racial overtones. Still a fun movie with Disney charm.
Rating 8 out of 10
2. Twilight (2008) - Dear god what an awful, awful movie. The story sucked, the acting was stiff as a 10 day old pizza box and the DVD commentary was the worst I have ever heard. Sadly, the movie was not in the "so bad it's good" category. The movie falls under the movie of "so bad it is painful." category. My fiancee looses points with this movie and if we even get divorced, I am using this against her in court
Rating 0 out of 10
3. The Brain that Wouldn't Die (1962) - This would be the opisite of Twilight in it is "so bad that is good" category. This was my first time watching in non-MST3K version. Would I watch it again in non-MST3K form? Only with a group of friend to riff it. But still a fun time
Friday the 13th 2009 version. Good cast that looked good and acted as well as you can in a low budget slasher flick. Action packed, plot holes (One of the main guys has a family house very close to Camp Crystal Lake), nasty killings, standard horror movie stuff. Runs a bit long for its own good (5-10 minutes should have been cut without impacting story) and too many location changes take place making it very scattered and hard to focus on what matters. Doe snot hold a candle to 1980's version but pretty damn scary at times and worth a look in the dark...ending lame lame lame copycats!
I saw Ice Age yesterday, it was very cute. Yes I know it's a kids movie but I don't really care. I saw the first two and I wanted to see how this one was and I liked it alot. I would recommend seeing it. I won't spoil the movie but it was really good. I'd give it a 10/10
Harry Potter at midnight, amazing amazing movie oh my gosh was it good. Loads of people of course but it was so worth seeing it. I loved it, I won't spoil anything about it but I will say they left a few things out. The storyline was really good and the colors in the movie were just amazing. Not the best seats but oh well I'll go see it again and get a better view of it because my head was back the entire time from sitting in the 2nd row. But I do recommend seeing it 10/10
I agree. It was definitely the best Harry Potter film to date. Very sad and dark, and yet, incredibly funny. I had a great time seeing this film and would definitely do it again.

Scream 1996. I LOVE the cast and the beginning beats any start to a horror film for me. Scary, original & still feels relevant so many years later & can still keep me interested. Can't wait for the just-announced Scream 4 next year!
This movie was awhile ago, but I don't think I said anything:
Adventureland - The movie is a “chick – flick”. Most of the movie revolves around this guy who wants this girl bad. The other part of the movie deals with teens on drugs, and liquor. The best part of the movie is the Chance Wipeout. I consider this an unwatchable movie.
I would say this was a month ago I seen:
Futureworld - In the first movie which I don’t care to see, the robots were killing the tourists. So, the guy and the girl are trying to figure out if this park has the same problems by going behind the scenes, and this movie is just dumb, and pointless. There is nothing really happening at least in the first hour, and it’s only a hour and 44 minutes. I consider it an unwatchable movie. Unwatchable movie to me is a movie where you see so much of it, and than it's so bad you can't watch it anymore.
I seen this movie before, but I saw it again, and here's my review:
Bambi - It can’t be a documentary because deers don’t talk, but it just seems it made that way. It’s pretty bad for a movie. I give it 1 star. It only lasts a hour and 9 minutes. This movie just goes through a deers life which isn't that exciting in my opinion. It's not like Lion King where they change it up. It's too normal in my opinion.
I just seen this movie:
Knowing- I give this movie 3.5 stars out of 4. The whole point of the movie is that this son finds in a time capsule a bunch of numbers on a piece of paper. His father gets involved, and tries to figure out what these numbers all mean. They point to something, but I won't go into it any further. It's a science fiction type of movie, but in my opinion it's very believable.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Jackluver18 wrote:^ did you think it turned into a teenage romantic novel at all?
It did, but it also did that in the book. It also gave us the hilarious line of "Soo did you and Ginny do it then?"
I was sad they left out a few good/important parts of the book, but atleast 7 will be split up in two movies. Here's to hoping they include as much as they can.

Yeah, I would have to agree on the star rating. I didn't think I would like it at first, not a big Cage fan, but it turned out to be a good movie, with a good ending.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.
Watchmen - Read the graphic novel earlier this month and rented the movie today. It was good, very true to the book until they completly changed the ending, but I think I liked the ending of the movie better than the book anyways. Very good.

2012 The Movie Rocked. It does not have the Best Dialogue in the World but the Effects and Events that Happen in the Movie more than Make up for it. There are some scenes made for 3D and many of the Characters are Fully Developed. There is also double Crossing going around. You Gotta See it at the Theaters, IMAX if Possible.
Funny People- A really great flick. I was never a fan of Seth Rogen or Judd Apatow until this movie. The length of the movie may turn off some people and so might the fact that, even though it's about comedians, it's not very funny. I mean that in a good way. Instead of a movie relying on joke after joke, it lets the story take us through. Really good flick.
Monty Python: Almost the Truth- A doc about the six(?) lads from the Python group. Pretty good doc. Not from a film making aspect, but from a "I want to know more about Python" aspect. I enjoyed it.
Shorts- Surprisingly decent! Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Spy Kids, Desperado) is the only one who can make really ridiculous and obvious kid films and still make them enjoyable. There's a simplicity to this one and yet it's sprinkled with some pretty funny situations (like the staring contest they call back to throughout the movie). If you don't mind decent to really bad child actors (I hate children, I might be biased), check it out. William H. Macy's in it!
Bart Got A Room- Eh, it was okay. Another one with Macy. I originally saw it because it's this guy's first movie. I'd been following him on youtube. Otherwise, it's a pretty ordinary movie.

2012 was really good even though in some parts it was disconnected and it lagged. I won't spoil it but it was a good movie and I would recommend it. If you saw Day after Tomorrow and like movies like that then you'd like this movie. I loved DaT and saw the trailer for 2012 and was like ooo I want to see that, so it was a good movie.
New Moon now I know a bunch of people hate the Twilight series and blah blah blah but whatever I liked it. I didn't read the book but read the synopsis of it. It was a good movie as well, I for one am for Team Jacob and there's people that like Team Edward but it's everyone to their own opinion, if you like either or great and if you don't like the series ok then. But I'd go see this movie again too.
