Go towards the bottim of this page http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.html to find out what Vekoma has in store. The 10 inversion LSM coaster sounds pretty cool. I cant wait to find out what The Pretzel Coaster and Thrill Lift concepts are.
I like the sound of the LSM 10 inversion coaster, it could make up for Shockwave's departure. Also, I wouldn't mind one of the Tilt Coasters I saw some videos of them and they looks pretty cool.
I wonder what parks will buy from Vekoma anymore lol. Paramount and Six Flags have had major problems with thier new prototypes, so Id be surprised if any park took a chance with another Vekoma Prototype.

If Vekoma can prove that their rides are reliable then they will have more buyers. I dont think they would be coming out with all these new concepts if they werent sure they were reliable.
Somehow, I think because of all the clones, Vekoma tends to be cheaper. So whatever they come out with, I can see SF parks buying them in the near future to try to compete with the new and innovative Intamins and B&Ms going in at other parks.
I think they will sell. Despite their problems with six flags and deja vu, they have sold more roller coasters then any other company out there, even if they are all slcs and boomerangs. And with the 10 inversion lsm, it's still a proven ride because its the same kind of ride as superman at six flags holland, or disneys rock'n roller coaster. I think it just they just came up with a new layout?
Trust me when I say this... you do NOT want to be rotated up-side-down 10 times by a Vekoma coaster. Nothing good would come out of it. Intamin, okay. B&M, okay. Schwarzkopf... if you could breathe afterwards, okay. NOT Vekoma. LSM launches are weak anyway, and outdated. It's all about the Intamin cable launches now.

the thrill lift concept is on their website. Its actualy pretty cool.
With Vekoma installing wood coasters that are beautiful and ride well ( so I hear) I see them doing quite well. Maintenance problems? Our SLC isnt' too bad at SFWoA - you guys don't have enough Vekomas, we are the capital! SFGAm:B&Ms :: SFWoA: Vekoma Sorry guys!

Ninja at SFStL is a Vekoma that takes you upside down 4 times and makes you want to go to the chiropractor 40 times. I have been in mosh-pits that were more gentle than that piece of junk. If this is typical of a Vekoma ride, I'm not sure I have enough insurance to try 10 inversions. Heck I'm not even sure I would trust them to make a decent LSM.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
