Around the 24 of October I rode the train and i saw that Roaring Rapids was completely drained, and wasn't refilled (as far as I know) until the last weekend of Fright Fest. But the ride wasn't running and it was just calm, no waves or anything.....does anyone know what happened? I wanted to ride it this Fright Fest but never got the chance.

Yea they would close Roaring Rapids because it is too cold. If you look at the sign on the entrance of the ride it said that it was closed due to weather.Carlo
ok....i thought it looked really weird seeing the water calm and not moving. It look pretty creepy just sitting there RED! lol I don't remember the park closing it last year because of weather....and last year was way colder than this year.

The odd thing about this is that Blood River in years past during FF was calmed down considerably. You basically didn't get wet while riding. This year when it was open, people were getting off the ride soaked. They should have made it like years past so it could stay open.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I wenton it on October 19th. I got soaked, they even had the worker maning the water cannons in the middle of the ride, I was shivering when I got off.
