Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Superbleachbrothers on June 6th, 2009, 12:52 am
On Opening Day, the park was almost dead. There were no lines on coasters.
A couple months later after I came on Opening Day, I went to the park today and there were TON OF KIDS from schools around Illinois. Lines were longer than the last time I went. I came at the park around 12 with my friend, Ben.

Also, I took a different camera to take pics at the park. The camera is a Fujifilm FinePix
A330. It has better quality than my JVC camera.

Here are the pics:

Hi Raging Bully.

On OD, the parking lot was empty. Now the lot is filled with cars.

Here is the Sky Trek Tower.

THE DEMON!!

After I rode Viper, 2 random girls were screaming at me from the Viper train. A minute after, they founded me near Ricochet. They wanted me to be with them in a picture. I think the reason why they came up to me is because they saw someone from their school who looks like me. So they wanted to meet me. Somewhere in this picture are the 2 girls.

Yes, THAT is a LONG LINE for the American Eagle. I had to wait about an hour to ride it.

When I riding the AE, I noticed that my left side was getting sore on the Eagles Nest. After the ride my leg felt like crap. I don't know if the roughness got my leg sore.

Marriott-Era lights.

Now you can text your phone to SFGAm to give outs deals and sales through out the park. I have not done this let.

HD TVs at Raging Bully's line.

Up the way we go!

Now you can play Guitar Hero at GA. It costs about $5. I not very good playing this game.

For members who not seen BB let. Here is the new ride they just added.

The octopus will rape your children on BB.

THOSE FUNNEL CAKES ARE GOOD.

Image
I'm guessing that those are other SF parks.

Image
There are 3 bulls in this picture. BUT they are one.

Image
Batman in the sunset.

Image
May be I might use this as a wallpaper.

Image
Jon's second favorite band is on this t-shirt.

Ricochet on AIDs.

The park is still claiming that they are still the Cleanest Park in the World. There were alot people there, but it was still fun. I'm planing to go this month again or on July. Was anybody there?

^In New York, there is Great Escape. I don't know if that many miles is to Great Escape though. They used to have Missouri for Six Flags St. Louis. I really haven't been on that train in awhile though.

Texas in my opinion has more better roller coasters than SFGAm does, BUT the waterpark in my opinion makes our park a little better.

The roller coasters I like at SFOT are:

1) La Vibora
2) Batman the Ride (Yeah, same one as us.)
3) Mr. Freeze
4) Runaway Mountain
5) Judge Roy Scream
6) Shockwave
7) Flashback
8. Mine Train

Texas doesn't have as many flats as us either (Well, which park does except Cedar Point?)
They have a Power Dive (like what we used to have), a Yo-Yo that doesn't tilt - Boo, Chance Trabant (like a Wipeout, but a whole lot more boring), a Splash Water Falls, a Roaring Rapids, a Logger's Run, a Dumbo type of ride called Batwing, a Triple Play (Huss Troika) - Shake, Rattle and Roll, a Huss Breakdance that is so slow, Scrambler, Merry-Go-Round, a S&S tower, a train, the Sears Tower type of ride (you go up an elevator, look from a balcony, go down an elevator), and a Looney Tunes dark ride.

Also, my favorite flat ride at this park are the Boots that go up and down! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXEHeVPvB7M

My favorite flat rides are the Orbiter, followed by the Zipper, Spin Out, Yo-Yo that tilts, Chance Chaos, Dinosaur, Indiana Jones, KMG Afterburner, Power Surge, Flying Bobs (Hay Bayler, Music Fest, Thunderbolt), Scat, Wipeout, Street Figther, Force 10, and than the Freak Out. There are more flats that in my opinion are great, but I don't want to list all of them.

Thats what 80 degrees can do. I went around 7:00pm. Very crowded, but thats what I was expecting for a Friday. I go to GA about 25 times a season( The catch is I only go for the last 2 or 3 hours ). I think I will try tonite, weather is about 55 and cool, which should mean walk on for the big rides.
OK what is up with AE? Have not seen dual colors running at same time yet. Last week Blue not working. Last nite Red not working. To me the ride is useles unless they have all 4 trains up and running. Not just one stinking train for the whole park, thats why that picture of AE quere was that long.
Also, what is wrong with RB yellow. GA has been running Teal and Red since opening. 2 weeks ago they kept shutting down the ride. When they reopened, I got in line and when in the station Yellow kept giving them lap bar faults. They had to E-stop a train on the mid-brakes. I was watching the train after they released the brakes, WOW it almoset valleyed, went alot slower. If I go tonite they better have all 3 trains running, because like AE, without all 3 trains running the ride is useless!!!!

The problem for that day is that there is no water park open so lines are going to be greater than when the weather is warmer and the waterpark is open at least at this time. There are also going to be school buses. Eventually, they will stop coming in drones, and the regular cars will show up more.

So for that day you went, you had buses in drones still, more cars coming in, and no waterpark. Basically, the point is that when the watepark opens (everyday of the week), and it is warm enough for people to go on the water rides, it will get better. I think going to the park right now on a 68 degree day is going to be much more crowded than a 78 day because no one is going to want to go in the waterpark or on the water rides when it's only 68 degrees. That show eventually opens also which will help relieve lines better also.
