So long, farewell -- 2003

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Aero737 on November 1st, 2003, 4:52 pm
This wasn't supposed to be my last tip this year but it ended up being my last.Got to the park at 4:30 and we webt to the chain in Hometown Square. We sat here for quite a while (only 30 min) and finally three people dropped the chain. Now I have never been part of a stampede like this before, and I don't plan on it happening again. There were about 15 of us running as hard as we could to DeJaVu. We were 5th and 6th in line. We got the fist row though. It was a great ride, very nice in the front. A little slow though. After that we took a hop over to Hellivator following 2 people who just got off Vu. It was a good ride. First people on it.We saw that Raging Bull's line was to the bottom of the stairs and went to AE. We got a walk on ride on red. Good and dark.We went the opposite way we came over to Batman. It was closed. We went of Whirligig instead. It was my first time, and I liked it. By the time we got off batman was running. We waited 4 trains for the front row. WOW. Best ride I've had all season. It was like sombody was pushing the train through the whole ride. My legs were tingly and my face cold. It was great!I decided to shell out the 7 dollars to get a Funnel Cake. Never got one before and it was great! A+++ It was a little cold for Ice Cream, but we got to watch the clowns go crazy. We rode Iron wolf. Good G-forces and it was a pain free ride. I just jam my head against one side of my restraint. We did a lot of walking around and waltzed over to Raging Bull. This was an interisting wait. We were in the second que house and they were putting the teal train on. It took them a bit to get everything all situated and most of the people left the line. We went from the que house to the fast pass line. Well a group of 15 people come flying down through the rocks by raging bull (I assume they just got off) They jump the fence right in fron of me and I start yelling (they just passed 15 min on line). The people in front of me wouldn't let the group of line jumpers through so they jump the fence again. This time they go to the stairs. Bad mistake. The ride ops see this and get security in the station. We get in the station at the same time the group did. Well the 4 security gaurds didn't go easy on them. All them got pulled off the ride after they got strapped in. All 15 of them. All escorted out of the park. HA! The system works....well sometimes. Anyways it was a good ride in the back row. I missed this ride after a 2 month hiatus. We went to terror twister just to listen to the music and somehow maneged to ride that thing!!! I hate spin rides like that but we kept the cup steady and had fun listning to some great techno! We went to Whizzer, It was fun and fast. Kinda drizzly by now.Super man was only a 30 min wait for the back row. This is another coaster that I haven't ridden in a while. It was great. Good and fast in the back. Too bad there was no onride photo taken. We were going to try and play a game of cards on the ride.We rode the boo line. Although everyone said it was stupid, I thought it was nice. They put a good effort into it. Spiders acually scared me. LOLIt was cold and getting late. We rode terror twister once more and then Space Shuttle America (well its superstition). I say just keep it Superstition! We left at 10:45 to beat the non exsitant traffic. The parking was a sparcley populated half full parking lot.I was going to go today, but I got kinda sick late last night. Maybe it was the wendy's...Notes: We saw the dead elvis show, some jugglers who juggle fire and knifes, and some trolls sliding into a bunch of garbage cans. Park was kinda full around 6 but emptied out fast.I think it was a great season.

Great TR. I also went, but got there at 7! We had 3 minivans and one of the drivers got home late from work... so we wasted 2 hours of Six Flags just to drive with them  . But the thing that really ticked me off was that all of the people in that van don't even go on rides! . It wasn't too crowded though, so that was pretty cool. Here's my ride count for Halloween at SFGAm:Raging Bull-1(15 min. wait, 3rd row, Awesome!)Deja Vu-1(1 hour wait, Row 2A Still one of the best!)Hellevator-(15 min. wait, GREAT!)Viper-1(10 min. wait, Airtime Heaven!)AE Blue-1(walk-on, front row, sweet)Batman-1(WALK-ON! front row, amazing)Superman-1(10 min. wait, back row, heavy G's on Pretzal)
My Top 5 coasters:1)Top Thrill Dragster 2)Millennium Force 3) Raging Bull 4)Deja Vu 5)V2

Great TR. Sorry that you got sick.I don't know if it will be crowded, but since it's supposed to rain, it probably won't be so bad.
