"The economy has taken another victim this week as the Fun Spot Amusement Park and Zoo in Angola, IN has announced on their website that they will not be opening for the 2009 season. The small park is known as one of the last locations where you can find an Arrow Shuttle Loop (Afterburner) which was relocated to the park from Florida’s Boardwalk & Baseball when it closed. The Afterburner is actually Arrow’s prototype unit as well."
This sucks for me as I had planned to hit the park the Sunday after Coaster Mania. Oh well, hope they get another chance next year.
back to the topic at hand, Fun Spot closing is in fact great news, no one has to be subjected to that place for at least a year, maybe never again. Could be time to break out the spot remover.

It didn't look like a good park. In my opinion, that Arrow ride looks kind of like nothing.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
^I'll have to agree that there isn't really much to the design, but it's an Arrow design I haven't been on yet, and I'd like to experience it, whether there's much to experience or not.
There isn't much to the design, but they are kinda fun. First and last car get some decent airtime coming off either drop. Schwarzkopf product from the same period was far superior though. Didn't involve climbing about 15 flights of stairs either.
