That could be a screw up, but at the same time there really is nothing worth taking a picture of at PGA :)

The hotel probably just wanted a stock roller coaster photo, saw that labeled as Great America and went with it, they are probably unaware that there are 2 parks by that name. I would guess that outside of the Coaster Enthusiast community and amusement park industry people, absolutely zero people know that there are 2 Great Americas, and if any of them know, chances are 99.999% that they really couldnt care less.

^Agreed...My guess, they googled "Great America Roller Coaster" and that picture came up. It's really no big deal, I mean I doubt anyone booking through that site will even notice/know that Raging Bull is not at CGA

Some people just shouldn't be working in their fields...check your facts. If they actually knew anything about either Great America this wouldn't have happened.

Is a hotel employee supposed to know everything there is to know about amusement parks?

Since all of you feel so strongly about it have any of you emailed the webmaster to inform them of the mistake?

Geez...It's a picture, how can you get so upset about that? SFGAm uses SFMM coasters in their ads and on some of their shirts; hell, even one of the shirts had Xcelerator in the background. Something like this makes no sense to get upset about, its a photo that they used just to show a roller coaster and re-emphasize their point of it being near a theme park that has roller coasters.

It's not a big deal but it is not that hard to find out which rides are from which park. That is why I hate when people use Google. It is not like they couldn't go to the official site of the park, borrow a photo or Google the park name and use the rides that come up. Not a big issue but one that should be fixed. Six Flags shouldn't allow any other park chain to use their coaster pics...

But Six Flags can't tell them not to unless they state the name because that picture is not a copyrighted picture by Six Flags, yet probably not copyrighted period. It's not like most people going there are not going to know that it was Raging Bull and will be looking for it there.
