Today would be a Disney Day.

Here we are. The happiest place on earth, yeah I said it.

Hi Walt!

Mother and Norm are happy to be at Disneyland.

Norm traced his ancestry back to the Fukawee Native Americans. They were said to stand on the top of the hills shouting "Where the Fukawee?!"

I think it's great that after all these years they still play Steamboat Willie on Main Street U.S.A.

This is where everyone talks about how tiny the castle is. And yes, it is tiny. Yes, I do like Magic Kingdom's better. But, it's still does have it's own charm.

They were filming in the park today. Saw these guys several times. I doubt we'll be in anything though.
A hop, skip, jump, and frolic over to Tomorrowland

I hadn't been on it since it went down many years ago. We decided to do it first before the crowds mobbed it.

Here, we ran into Father, Pat, Romi, and Pat's Gal. They already rode.

Waiting...

Today's sub's name was scout!

The ride was pretty cool. That's all I really have to say about it. Wouldn't wait three hours for it.

My favorite picture of the day.

Favorite ride of the day.

Each time I go, the "ride of the day" always fluctuates. It usually depends on who I'm with.

Man, the "new" Space does look pretty cool.

Mother and Norm went to go ride The Smoking Ride. They had me fetch some FastPasses for Indiana Jones and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a delicious

DOLEWHIP!

Let's see what happens when two holidays collide.

As much as I love this attraction and The Nightmare Before Christmas I really miss the original The Haunted Mansion. I haven't been on it for so long.

What? No one wants to ride Splash Mountain with me?
Thank God for...

Even the seating is superior in Florida.

This one just lacks the drama and pacing the Florida one has.

"We'll show you a laughing place."

Still, the ride is great fun!

Found Mother and Norm!

I feel a musical number coming on...

This was a nice touch. Back when it was Tom Sawyer.
My uncle's bad knees were acting up so they got him a fancy wheel chair.

Yay no lines!

Oh, there's the guys filming again. Hi guys filming!

Not that it mattered for us because we had a wheelchair bound old man, but the standby wait was only 5 minutes for Big Thunder.

Pat's Gal reminding Pat how to read. He is old y'know.

Everyone say follow the goat!
While taking pictures in the dark I caught something...

BUSTED!

Don't forget to watch the goat!

This is what happens when you eat goat cheese.

Pat's Gal tried the goat trick.

Peter Pan's Flight was great, of course.

As was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Curse you awesome rides for making me hungry!
It was eats time, so we made our way back to main street for some wieners.
We saw the spike on the way.

We were also offered a ride down Main Street from this kind lady.

But I pushed her aside and hijacked the car for myself! Yee Ha!

Hi guys filming!

This is interesting. What used to be this little boatride in Tomorrowland is now this forgotten area of Disneyland.

It's sadly now a smoking area.

But it's a neat little area, if anyone wants to take pictures with water.
Let's ride Space Mountain again!

By now, my uncle Pat was so high on painkillers he was having the best time out of all of us.

Weeee!
Time for the best ride at Disneyland.

Indiana Jones!

This ride, in my opinion, is what sets Disneyland higher than Magic Kingdom.

Look! The hat!

Look! A Hideen Mickey!

Because we had a crippled old man, we got to ride the elevator!

With Flash.

Without. I love my new camera.

One of the coolest effects in the queue.

Pat's Gal feeling the effects of how awesome this ride is.
Time to ride the Smoking Ride again.

Isn't it so cool?

Am I the only one who thinks this look like people are being deported.

Pat and Pat's Gal sit at the special table.

Norm wants to relieve his childhood and ride the rockets.

Pat's Gal is all like "How does this thing work?"

And now a series of cool photographs that were taken in an extremely slow shutter mode... and that are made of awesome.

Hangin' out at the smoking ride!

Well, after a fun filled day at my favorite place on the planet, it was time to head home.

Goodnight Walt. Until next year.
Even though I was the only one under thirty in my group, I still had the time of my life. No, Disneyland is not awkward or boring with my family (especially not mine). Disneyland was built for families and I feel privileged to still be able to be with my family on the greatest place on earth. It's what Walt would have wanted.
My Theme Park endeavors may be severely winding down, but I know as long as my soul is young and my body is healthy I will still continue my quest for fun. And maybe fun will be had by all. Yay.

Until we meet again.

The End.
