You can also legally tend your parent's bar at the age of 13. The drinking age could almost be 18 and most people would applaud it, there is so much binge drinking throughout the state in both high schools and colleges.

Wisconsin tends to be really liberal with drinking laws as Miller is in Milwaukee and is a big part of the economy. The drinking age was 18 until sometime fairly recently, the reason it was raised to 21 is because the federal government refused to give any funds for interstate construction if they did not raise to the same age as the rest of the country. There is a bar on campus at my school because when it was built it was legal for all the students to drink.
