I personally think it funny and keeps the boards active during the winter
...ah yes pointless drama.
On with the topic though, I am planning on the West Coaster Bash in March as long as I can get my debt under control by then. Other then that, I then hope to get to NorCal at some point next year.
-Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom -Beech Bend -Waterville USA -Alabama Adventure -Lake Winnepesauka -Ghost Town In The Sky (maybe) -Dollywood + 2 kiddie coasters near dollywood -Camden Park -King's Island -Indiana Beach
I'm also going to all of the Northern California parks next summer. I haven't figured out yet if I'm flying there and back or if I'm going to make a stop in seattle/ silverwood.
I've also been considering a train trip to Elitch Gardens and Lagoon, but probably not this year. The West Edmonton Mall is very tempting, but it's 26 hours away.

Those kiddies are hard to get, as all coasters in TN (except for those at Dollywood) stop operation for rain, and do not reopen till the tracks are dry...

Dude, Seattle is hella far from Silverwood but if you pull that off more power to you

Leave Milwaukee area, go to Valleyfair the same day, drive all the way to the West Edmonton Mall going threw Cananda (have a few drinks ), then drive to Seattle, then Silverwood, then come all the way home unless there are a few credits on the way. I think there is a kiddie 5 hours out of the way (totally worth it)

If it works, it works. It's just two kiddie coasters. We would leave dollywood during the day for an hour or two to get lunch outside the park and get the credits. I know dollywood's food is supposed to be the same as SDC's, so I'll probably get one meal inside the park just because it's supposed to be good.

It's like 6 hours, which isn't that bad. When I went to SFOT/ SFFT with my dad in 2007, we drove the 5 or 6 hours to and from SFFT, so it's not that bad.
Why don't you just hit those on your NorCal trip?
Because I'd probably fly to northern california. It's not worth it to drive all the way out there, mainly because of time, but also because of putting miles on cars.

Thats exactly what I did when I was there...There's a sonic in Sieverville, but don't miss the food at Dollywood

Take a train from Frisco to Denver then fly or train back from there
I do believe the skillet place in the picture you posted recently burned down. (though that might have been SDC).
And for whoever mentioned sonic, there are at least 3 in the chicago area with at least 4 more currently under construction. So you can eat that anytime. Stick with Dollywood food even if it ends up being 2 or 3 meals.

Looks like I'll have a pretty decent coaster year. I'll definately go to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott's several times. Disneyland and California Adventure at least once. The Northern California parks at least once, and Castle Amusement Park a lot, since it's probably the closest park to me. I also really want to go to Belmont Park (finally ride Giant Dipper) Legoland (yeah, yeah, but I need the credits!) and Castle's n' Coasters (take a wild guess why I'll be going here.)
Then there's some far away parks I'd love to visit, bbt right now, it doesn't look like it'll be happening.
SDC/Dollywood are really good but Busch parks have better food in my opinion, though Herschend is a way better value. Though the sitdown resturaunts in World Showcase at Epcot has the best theme park food of any park, those meals are reservation based and expensive as all hell though.
I need another year to save up, so I'm just going to do one small-midsized trip this year in July, it will be 7-8 days long be a road trip rather than fly and will consist of...
Cedar Point, Waldameer, Conneaut Lake if open, Kennywood, Knoebels, Hershey, Dorney, SFGAdv, SFNE, Lake Compounce, Moreys Piers for Coastin by the Ocean (one of the best events I've ever been to), Keansburg, Bowcraft, Rye Playland, Casino Pier, Funtown Pier, Gillians Wonderland Pier, Playlands Castaway Cove and possibly Clementon.
Besides that will do the standard day trips to SFStL, Kings Island, Cedar Point, Adventureland in Iowa, Worlds of Fun, possibly Valleyfair!/MOA, and possibly Holiday World/SFKK/Beech Bend. Might hit WI Dells also, last time I was there was Hades Media Day/Avalanche opening.
So pretty much another slow year. 2010 is almost a sure thing for Europe though as I'm very nearly debt free from all my other trips ranging from 2000-2006

You can't beat the French Bakery.

You know you go to alot of parks when all of this is a Small-Midsize Trip. My mom would consider this a 3 Year Masterplan
Are you also going to go to Dutch Wonderland? Its an Hour-ish from Hersheypark in Amish Country.
never been there, I may consider it, though it depends on how much time I have leftover after all these parks, and how much their admission cost is. Really all they have is a smaller family style wood coaster and a Chance Big Dipper coaster, not to much motivation, though if someone else on my trip wants to stop, will add that to the list
Really same for Clementon, one coaster and like a $30 admission, I'm not to keen on that either.

Well this weekend we are taking a road trip from Chicago to Canada. Were hitting up all the 3 Michigan Jeepers kiddy credits then driving into Canada for "fun zone" and there indoor kiddy credit
