i am sure he/she knows that but meant they want to ride it without the loops,or demon theming, and i totally agree. those bunny hills would be so fun and would provide so much airtime :D

I'd like to ride it with the red corkscrews.

I'm glad they changed the name but my problem with Demon is that it is too boring 2 loops and 2 corkscrews. The scenery is outdated and it doesn't help having 2 dark colored rides so close to each other like Demon and Whizzer are.

Well if they updated the theming, that wouldn't be an issue...

Maybe but knowing them it probably won't happen as Six Flags does not care about it's rides and when it does it only rewards the newer ones that drive business like Raging Bull. Eagle, Wolf, Giant Drop, Demon, Dark Knight could all use some work. Think it will ever get done with Marky Mark in charge? No, he only worries about Magic Mountain and getting a new family area/ride whenever possible. He should understand that you should first work from the inside and then outside when operating a park like Great America. The in-park issues are becoming more and more noticeable. Don't even get me started on the flash pass mess...

They care about Magic Mountain because its been on the line of being closed. There so much to compete with that they have to pay "attention" to the park in order for it to be open...do you want another Six Flags park to close? Besides, it seems like the only people that really complain about the park not getting a new ride are the young teens who live so close, have a season pass, and have nothing else to do....and you guys are a VERY small percent of the attendance of which they don't need to stay in business. The average group that goes (the people that give Six Flags there business) doesn't really care...every year there has been something new. Until you go to other parks you will realize and appreciate the attention out park is getting as is. If you want a new thrill ride go take a trip to another park.

I don't want a new thrill ride. I believe little things should be done sometime in the future that would help the park financially in the long run.

I have not said a word about wanting a new thrill ride for months. I said I want the park to first do the necessary jobs INSIDE first and then worry about what new family ride they need to put in the following year.

I'm not too bummed out about missing some of the coasters, because realistically you can never have ridden every coaster that has been removed. I'm happy that I got to ride the defunct coasters that I've been on. The only ones that I really regret not getting to ride are the Hard Rock Park ones, because I could have gone there this year and instead chose to do trips to other parts of the country.

It would have been cool to ride Z Force and I'm a little sad MM tore it down after not operating it for years. I wish we had a defunct ride memorial where bits and pieces of defunct rides can be seen and appreciated. Like the old Deja Vu sign. I'm sure Silverwood didn't buy it. Must be somewhere.

I don't like the 6 months ago part! But it is a good idea and for fans of such rides like Z Force, Sky Whirl, Shockwave, Deja Vu & Splash Water Falls it would be a nice little tribute.

I still think the park should have a plaque by the entrance reading "Established in 1976"

Good to know we have an inside expert on these fourms that knows the inner workings of Six Flags C.E.O. mind. So since you know so well what's SFGAm's 10 year plan? If you really think you have some ideas for the park, why don't you try to work there instead of gripping about it on the internet. With that said how does corperate only care about MM? yeah that makes perfect sence considering they're last major attraction was in 2006...Maybe they care too much about SFGAv and SFGAm! wow! let's take a look
SFGAv: 2005 - Kingda Ka. 2006 - El Toro. 2007 - Wiggle's World. 2008 - Dark Knight
SFGAm: 2005 - HH. 2006 - Tornado and numerous upgrades. 2007 - Wiggles World. 2008 - Dark Knight
SFMM: 2005 - Nothing. 2006: Tatsu. 2007: 2 coasters removed. 2008 - X2

Continuing on; what exactly are these "in-park issues"? Call me crazy but I've been to all but 4 SF parks and SFGAm is most defenitly one of the nicest and best ones. Maybe you could point out some of these issues?
I'm irreverent and stuff...

2009 Terminator, 2010 Another Coaster and another kiddie area
That is without adding in maintenance nightmares...deja vu...
All to a park that does not even bring in the crowds it should be. Remember what happened with Tatsu? Sales actually fell with that one.

excellent, just the response I was looking for but didn't expect to find...

You mean that this big, huge, record breaking, thrill coaster targeted exclusively towards teens didn't help business at all??

That's news to alot of people here. ;)

Also the Economy/ Market in the Cedar Point Area isn't Picture-Perfect and Top Thrill Dragster was closed for like 2 Months because of Problems.

Anyway, to get back on topic, There are TONS of Coasters that I wish I could Have Gotten Too.

- Flashback at SFMM
- Six Flags Astroworld
- Myrtle Beach Pavilion
- Cypress Gardens
- Six Flags New Orleans
- Whalom Park
- High Roller at Stratosphere
- Speed: The Ride (There are Rumors)
- Psyclone at SFMM
- Batman & Robin: The Chiller
- Python at Busch Gardens Af
- Drachen Fyre at Busch Gardens E
- Viper at SFGAd

And Probably an Additional 50+ that I don't have the Strength to Think Of Right Now

I think coasters that are SBNO for large portions of their opening year and when was open had constant breakdowns, cable frays and cuts people up on the train, etc etc has a lot to do with it also :).

Broken cable was the second year of operation (well at least the time people were injured)

And also a lot of people plan their vacation to Cedar Point early in the year, before it becomes apparent that their new coaster is a hunk of junk. People may plan a vacation around a new ride, but they aren't going to cancel out cause the new ride isn't open after they've saved up, taken time off work, made reservations, etc. TTD just had no real drawing power beyond people who already go to Cedar Point as their attendance has hit a plateau, which is where most parks are at now.
