The thing about those free concerts is that while some were huge stars and we all like good music from time to time, it is not a weekly thing and lasts only about 2 months worth of Sundays. We had the last Sunday in June and all the way till mid-August I think with Jordin Sparks. Not a good use of the space. They should either expand Sunday Night Concerts a bit or put on other shows there so there is not a huge empty stage area sitting unused 40-60% of the time next season. I like that the space is somewhat used for Fight Fest but hopefully they can launch a more successful-type-of-Spygirl-show in the future that is available every weekend. Plus, those concerts for those who don't like those particular artists mean nothing but a packed park with dreadful lines all day.
^ I Once had an Idea of a Stand-up Show there during the off-time with 4 local comedians telling PG Rated Stand Up Material (Kinda low Budget Blue-Collar-Comedy-Tour)
How about changing the Family Rate for Season Passes. Instead of having 4 people to qualify for the family rate, how about changing it to only needing 3 people to qualify for the family rate?

I still think a Stand Up Show would be a Quick Cheap Show to make, Think About It
4 Teens + A 30 Minute Stand Up + Little/No Props + No Costume Changes + No Liscensing Fees + Little Rehearsal=
An Easy, Cheap Show.
On the family deal, I agree they are a family. But being an only child living with just my mom, the family thing has always been a mute point when it comes to family deals.
I agree with the show. The park does need a comedy show, especially an improve one that involves kids. To this day, I will always remember being picked to be Wally the Gator in a show at Busch Gardens Africa from the spring of 1991. That was also my favorite part of the trip and I did Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Universal, Sea World, Wet n' Wild and Cypress Gardens also during that trip.
They always make it seem so pretty on paper or over the phone. You never really hear the bad stuff. Did they talk about the locker policy? Or why Great America has such expensive season parking passes? I hear they are the most expensive in the chain. Most are free with general season passes right?
no park offers free parking passes, and all parks are in the $45-$60 range, in fact SFStL has the cheapest parking pass I've seen at $45, as far as I've heard SFGAm, SFMM and SFGAdv are all $60 or $65.
Locker policy has netted them cash and is therefor a good thing.
The conference call is all about the financial health of the chain which is at it's best ever (sadly).
