I've lost all faith, I don't think they can do it. As I said before they tied it up and took the lead "There's always next year."

Oh man.I can't handle this. I can't believe this happened. We had the freakin lead. Our strongest point (pitching) let us down.I HATE MARLINS! I ALWAYS WILL!I can only hope that the marlins are crushed in 4 games by boston. I have never hated a team more than I am hating the marlins now.

Good god!!!!It can't get any worse than the loss of this series.I give props to the Marlins. They stuck with it and believed in themselves.Give the Cubs credit. They have nothing to be ashamed of. They made it this far.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

It was a bad way to end there season. But, if you look at the whole season it was a great season with lots of great memories. This season was by far the Cubs best season in a while. Can't wait till next year... Lets go Cubbies!

Although I'll give credit where credit is do, the cubs did have a good season. But being the die-hard sox fan I am happy to see them out of the playoffs, the Curse of The Billy Goat is still alive. If the Red Sox lose tonight it looks like The Curse of the Great Bambino is also still going strong. There's no reason not to believe in curses then.

In my opinion most cubs fans set themselves up for a big disappointment, including me. Nobody thought they would come close to the NLCS. But the second they clinched their division, so many people became cubs fans. Then everyone expected a team who hasn't won a playoff series since 1908, to win the World Series. Then once they were leading the NLCS 3-1, everyone thought it was a given that they were going to the World Series including me. But with a few bad bounces and unfortunate fan interference, Marlins came back to go to the world series. And if they can beat both Prior and Wood 2 games in a row they deserve to be there.

Who is everyone rooting for this WS? Let's go Marlins! :)BTW, today my class went to a Pumpkin Patch with our Kindergarten "pals." The place we went to had a lot of petting zoos, and as we were about to leave, there was a donkey having a baby! It was covered in a blue and white sac, which was pretty nasty looking. Then a worker came and ripped the sac thing open and there was a baby donkey, which looked like a dog just out of a swimming pool. What an adventure!

ROFL to the above post!!! Wow! Why do donkey's give birth in the fall. Thats supposed to happen in the spring.I'm boycotting the WS. Its a blah series this year. Who really cares who wins. Marlins have about 200,000 bandwagon hoppers and Yankees always win. The redsox or cubs really deserved to be in it. Good fans, better media attention.

I'm thinking that it's only because they are new. If there would've been only sports avatars for a long time, and then you brought up all of these coaster avatars, there probably wouldn't be any sports avatars being used! Having the same ones for a long time gets boring.

Have any of you checked out the new Windows port of iTunes? It's awesome. Screw the iTunes store, I don't use that, but it's the best MP3 management program I've used, plus it has tons of free radio stations. It's worth checking out, but if you decide to, beware, if you use the "Consolidate Library" function, it will move and rename ALL of your MP3s. However, it does this in a way that makes sense. It just puts all of your music in a iTunes folder in the My Music folder, and organizes it by artist, then album, then names the files by track number and song title.Check this program out. Now I just have to get an iPod so I can use it to integrate with a standalone player... It won't connect to any other MP3 player.

I'll have to check that out... Another good program though (the one I use) for managing all your music is MediaMonkey. It's the best I've found, though I havn't checked out the iTunes software so maybe that's better. All I know is MediaMonkey is definitely really good. It's also a good CD ripper.

Well, just to get conversation started, does your job have a web site? What do you do at it? I work at a restaraunt called the Mill Race Inn. Its an expensive fine dining restaraunt. I am a bus boy and barback. I also do paperwork in the office. The website is http://www.themillraceinn.comPost yours! (or your school/whatever burns your time)

From the headlines: A man survives a jump over Niagara Falls, without the aid of safety devices. The only other person to survive the plunge over Niagara without the use of a barrel/contraption was a 7 year-old boy in 1960. There's no word yet if the latest incident was a suicide attempt, but it looks like the man might get fined $10,000 in the end.

From what I've heard, the boy had a life vest on. I don't think a 7 year old can swim/last long enough to go over thoes falls. The American side is much rougher than the Canadian side.
