Six Flags Magic Mountain officials have confirmed that a man was struck by a ride at the park in Santa Clarita.
The incident, which involved a 20 year old man, occurred just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday. According to the park, the man scaled at least one fence and entered a “visibly restricted area.”
Once in the restricted area he was struck by the Ninja roller coaster. Magic Mountain officials report that park medical personnel were on scene within two minutes, and found the man unconscious but breathing. They contacted 911 and the man was transported to the hospital.
The park released a statement saying; “As required by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Ninja is surrounded by 6-foot and 7-foot fences that are clearly marked by signs stating the area is restricted to authorized personnel only.”
Sue Carpenter , spokesperson for Six Flags told KHTS that, according to the man's brother in law, he was attempting to retrieve his hat, which had fallen off on the ride.
His medical condition is not known.
I think we should all take a Moment of silence to mourne the loss... Screw it, he's a Moron
What are parks going to have to do? I'm thinking ID Fingerprint Scanners at the main gate and Electrical Fences just to snap um back to reality.
I think Six Flags should say at all the parks "Unless you have Top Management Permission and a Guide, If it says KEEP OUT that keep out and if you do not apply to this rule, Six Flags cannot be held responsible for any incident."
Just have everybody who enters the park take a simple IQ test. If your stupid, then you don't enter the park.
Then Six Flags would go out of business.....

Why the heck are people so fing stupid, I really can't believe this at all. It's like a routine pattern now, everyone jumps a fench to retrieve a damn hat. Buy a new one they cost 5-15 bucks, you can't buy a new body....my god.
^well remember we've had an accident of that man getting hit by Cajun but I dont think he was retriving anything that fell in the ride did he, anyways there are so many stupid people in this world it's insane. It's called common sense stupid.
Please Moderators dont ban me for the Title of this Topic.
As in the words of Bill Engvall:
I just hate Stupid people, They should have to wear signs that say "I'm Stupid" that way you wouldn't rely on them for anything would you? ... Thats why there are warning signs cause of stupid people, its not for us, its for stupid people. If there weren't any Stupid people, you wouldn't see any warnings or if they just had those signs, you wouldn't sell um the product, would you? ...
- Did you know on a tube of Preperation H, it says do not take this Er Via The Mouth? - On a doll called Rub a Dub Dolly, it says "this is not a Life Saving Device" - On a Can of Shaving Creme it says "Avoid spraying this into an open flame" - On Stereo Equipment that has drying agent is says "Do Not Eat This" - On Deoderant is says "Do not apply this to the Eyes" - On a Car Fanbelt it says "Make sure you have the Motor turned off first" - On Curling Irons it says "Do not insert this into any oraface (sp?)" - On Blowdryers it says "Do not Use While Sleeping" and "Do not use in the Shower"
These Dumb Knuckels ruin things for the rest of Us, If there weren't any stupid people than:
- Demon would have lap bars (Because no one would throw rocks at the Lights) - Whizzer would have no Restraints (Because no one Would Stand Up) - Marriott would give Un-needed food to the Soup Kitchen (Someone sued for Food Poisoning) - Great America would have Sit Down Restaurants (Because people would Eat and Then Pay) - Sky Whirl would still be here (I heard rumors that People splashed in the Cages if you know what I mean) - There would be no deaths based on Heart Problems - Some Smart Guy wouldn't have stolen 16,000 worth of free tickets(http://www.thrillnetwork.com/stories_vi ... erica.html)
If I ever die on an Amusement Park attraction because of doing something wrong on Purpose (I consider the Kentucky Kingdom girl an Accident), Do not feel sorry for me in any way, shape, or form.
ONE LAST THING, TO ANYONE READING THIS FORUM OR POST. IF YOUR HAT OR ANY ARTICLE IS IN A RESTRICTED AREA, DO NOT CLIMB OR GO TO IT!!! ASK A PARK PERSONNEL (?) OR UPPER LEVEL EMPLOYEE TO RETRIEVE IT FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like how the article name is "Man Hit by Roller Coaster at Magic Mountain." If I were the writer of the article, i would've called it "Man Hits Roller Coaster at Magic Mountain."
I like how it always seems like that people jump over the fences to get hats. There is signs all over the rides saying to sucure hats and classes. Come on people it is time to get smart!
I just don't get why people are so stupid. They could ask a worker to get their hat or somthing other then doing it themselfs and getting hurt or killed.
