Confirmed: Kings Island's 2009 ride will be a B&M hyper.

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Incredible would be my words for this thing! To think, when Raging Bull and Apollo's Chariot came out, and everyone said they weren't as "forceful" as hoped, I thought for sure we wouldn't be able to see many B&M Hypers. Now they seem to be popping up everywhere!! I can't wait to hate the fact that I can't go down to ride it!

/\ All the other B&M hypers are far superior to Bull (maybe with the exception of Silver Star).

^ Ya, because Bull was one of the first B&M hypers ever made.

^It's also completely different in terms of layout, ours is more or less in the twister format than the out and back, which is clearly much better than our layout (After riding Apollo's Chariot and Nitro, I will definitely back this up from personal experience). Nevertheless, I really wanna ride it badly!!!! :x

^Ok, yes ours is a twister instead of of an out and back. So, who cares if ours is not the best it is still the best roller coaster in the park in my opinion.

^I second that motion, although i'm a really big fan of V2, so it's kind of a tough call for me.

I also see that Diamondback is having the same style seating as Behemoth. Any riders of Behemoth care to share whether these turned out to be better than the traditional vehicle?

Behemoth is great in the outside seats. It has the same problem as DejaVu though where people refuse to sit in the outside seats so quite a few go out empty.

Why do refuse to sit in the outside seats? Are they to scared? I would sit in the outside seats!

I like the colors they chose for Diamondback. They go well together.

A couple things I noticed.

1. There's trim brakes on the first camelback hill after the hammerhead turn.
2. Ever since Raging Bull was built, not one hyper-twister coaster has a twisted track configuration. They're almost all some form of an out-and-back. Now, with the limited space, Raging Bull couldn't be anything by a twister coaster, but the fact that not one hyper-twister-coaster has been built in similar form as Raging Bull is interesting, at least to me.

The reason is people are more into drops then turns. I really like the high speed turns....drops seem a little boring but drops gives more adrenaline. This DiamondBack is going to be like that.

1.Cedar Fair puts trim brakes on everything they can
2.Hyper Twisters suck in comparison to regular out and back hypers (Behemoth, Goliath (SFOG), Nitro, Goliath (LR) Apollo's Chariot > Raging Bull)

^Raging Bull is a hyper-twister, not an out-and-back.

I was looking at pictures, and it seemed like there was some sort of behind the scenes thing going on with Diamondback. I saw a large group of people all with passes on standing near the ride.

Just re-read this please. In math > (greater than).

So all of those that are out are backs are greater then Raging Bull.
