One share of Six Flags stock is currently worth less than $1...its currently trading at $0.95/share. Six Flags has been under $1 for a few days now. This got me thinking, now they not only have to worry about going bankrupt, but if their stock price doesnt improve soon, they're going to get delisted from the NYSE and have to trade on the pink sheets
.
Six Flags was a penny stock at $10 a 2 years ago and at the time considered a great investment to many, and since then has gone down 100%

Yikes...really bad news...that Georgia accident only added to the turmoil...I don't think Six Flags can afford to keep all their parks...Save 5 or so and invest in keeping them the best. Keep: Great America Magic Mountain Great Adventure Over Georgia Over Texas

I was thinking similarly to what you said. However, I am still not convinced that this will help.

just look at the diffrence from when they owned the park and now, we have such less theming, plus they had the park before so it would be amazing to see what rides they would try to bring back

^ they wouldnt bring back any old rides because thats just what they are, old and outdated.. the technology back then was much more inferior than technology nowadays

Some are new. The park could never afford to have all old flats.

Very wrong. Triple Play, Fiddler's Fling, ERC, Rue le Dodge, Columbia (If you count that) Sky Trek Tower, Orbit, Barney Oldfield, and Whirlygig. Did I miss any others?

^I think he meant flats. Oh, and Jon, were you taking pics by the carousel during the night parade on the 10th. I could've sworn I saw you.

hometown fun machine aka Saskatchewan scrambler was originally in the park if I'm not mistaken

^ Correct...and STT is not an original flat ride, as I believe it was built a year after the park opened...same with Ricochet/Big Top I think the complete original Flats list is Columbia Carousel Rue Le Dodge East River Crawler Whirligig Fiddler's Fling Triple Play Hometown Fun Machine (Saskatchewan Scrambler) Raceway The 13 original rides still left in the park would be all the rides above and Whizzer Demon (Turn of the Century) Loggers Run Yankee Clipper Railroad
