June 26th Trip Report

Let us know how your day at the park was.

My first trip report here so here it goes...

Me and my friend got to the park around 9:50 and waited at the chains and when they were removed we power walked to Raging Bull. We made it on the 4th ride of the day in the front row (which was amazing) and then went right back on the last row ( which was even better).

We then made it to Giant Drop, after I sorta forced her to go on with me...all I have to say is that is the scarest ride in the entire park.

Next was Viper, back row, no wait at all. Still one of my favorite coasters in the park.

After a long walk we made it to Superman. Once we were almost to the break up point between first and all other rows the ride shut down for some "techincal difficulties". We then sat in line in the hot, blistering sun for an extra 15 minutes. Sometimes I wonder if that ride is even worth the wait.

The Dark Knight...about an hour line but thank god for A C in that building or I would have died. it was my friends first time on it and I feel that The Dark Knight Coaster gets better every time I ride it.

Then made it to King Chaos...the best non-roller coaster ride in the park.

V2 was next and as always a great ride...a little line about 25 minutes...the back is the best on that ride.

Batman...about same wait time as V2 but only because we waited for front row, which is the only way to go on that ride.

American Eagle red side (which is better than the blue side)...back of course. But why is it that when the blue train leaves the station first, the red train makes it to the lift quicker?

Next we got a bite to eat and while I was eating kareoke was going on at the reflections stage and i saw the funniest thing...a young boy about 12 or 13 years old got on stage and started to sing Material Girl by Madonna and while he was singing he knew ever word and was dancing all around the stage and totally getting into it. It totally made my day!

We then went to Hurricane Harbor. I had to buy a swimsuit because my friend never told me she was bringing hers so I forgot mine. We had to had to rent a locker but only had $10 and all of the $9 ones were full. So after puting all of our change together we ended up with $12.80. So we searched our surroundings for about 15 minutes and finally found a quarter on the ground (which gave us enough).

Went on a bunch of slides but the best one was Tornado, which was my first time on it...it is the best water "slide" there. The wave pool was also pretty amazing! We finally had to relax in the sun only because we did not have any towels and did not have enough money to buy one.

We left the park around 6 and all I have to say is it was a great day at Six Flags Great America...except for the boiling sun

Yes Batman in the front is the way to go because i can only sit up front, the back gives me the worst headache I have no idea why but front is the way to go that's for sure.
