Family Friendly?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I am going to Six Flags tomorrow, I wanted to know how the new Dark Knight Coaster is? My 8 years old sister is intrested on going on the ride, but I wanted to know first how it is. Is there a lot of "Scary suprises" or "scary images" during the ride. She doesn't like suprises to much, even more when they are startling ones. So I am asking overall, is it "Kid Friendly"?

I think it's kind of family friendly. The ride itself is dark and not really scary or anything. The pre-show might freak some kids out though, but I would say more younger kids, like six and under. If she's not really afraid of much, then I think she'll be fine.

It actually seems most popular around the 8-12 year old age range, at least from what i witnessed when I was there. There are one or two jumpers in the ride, but they are over in a matter of seconds. The coaster is no more thrilling than Cajun. The preshow reminded me of the tunnel sequence in the original Willy Wonka, it's bizarre to a degree, kind of creepy, but not too scary. She'll be fine, have fun and enjoy the ride!!!!!

Imagine Ragin' Cajun if it was indoors, it had a somewhat decent (but annoying after a while) line, and the cars didn't spin. Oh, and it had some hi-tech Batman themed crap on the walls here and there.
