Wait, I did not see any misunderstanding between the two parks in the video. Would you to expand on that in case I missed it?

^when the little bar comes up that says santa clara, underneath it says Six Flags Great America

as for why they mix them up.. its probably because people who do not follow the amusement industry just think that six flags is the only amusement park chain.. whereas Cedar Fair & Paramount (not sure it this news report is from the paramount era) are lesser known with the public

and considering that this is a news report.. they should have done their homework before the broadcast

Well sadly the GP, yes General Public, is the majority. 90% of people would not even notice such an error, and of the 10% that would, only about 10% would care. To this day, I still hear people, even on this forum, saying American Eagle runs backwards. That just shows you how much the GP notices the little things, like what direction youre going on a coaster.

So what if they make a little mistake.
It just shows how pathetic we are to be that anal about it.

I will 2nd the comment by guests about AEB, and if it is still running backwards. When I tell guests waiting in line that it is no longer doing that, most of them are upset, and they say it was a lot of fun, and the park needs to do it again. A small % (maybe 2% or less) have actually LEFT THE LINE because the ride is no longer running one side backwards.

The other comment I will make about the GP is that, while standing in line for TDK, none of them that I talked to knew that the line was in the former Theater Royale building. They just think the park added 2 new buildings (one for the coaster, and one for the line). Again, it goes to show that the GP does not notice all the little stuff like we do....and maybe for the parks involved, it could be a good thing.
