Ravine Flyer II POV

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

A POV of Ravine Flyer II has been released on goerie.com and can be found here

This ride looks like it has some great airtime and the 90°turn(s) look(s) insane!

I also really like how the ride bridges over the highway

Wow, that almost looks disapointing personaly. Maybe its just the fact that it was just running slow or something...but the animation POV looks so much better. And the animation made the surrounding area look better.

While I hate to judge a new ride based on a POV alone, the POV gave me the impression that it was shorter then I thought it would be. I thought the part of the ride on the other side of the bridge was going to be longer then it was.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to my trip out to that park on July 18th, and also looking forward to riding the coaster.

^Im going the 18th as well

I think another reason why it looked shorter and smaller was because of the lens. The lens seemed very wide and flat which made everythig looked shorter. But I agree about the fact that the turnaround seems pretty short.

Foot for foot, it seems up to par with GG's other coasters. Part of the reason why it looked like it was lagging was because it really hasn't run that much yet. It'll warm up! Looks like a nice, intense coaster for the space it takes up.

I do agree that the animations make the ride look taller, faster and essentially better than the actual POV, but you gotta give it time to warm up and a full load will add some speed
