Because I forgot something important at home when we were, say, 10 minutes on the road we lost time and didn't get to the gate until about 5 minutes after opening. AUGH! Next year, hopefully. Well, this was Kat's first time at Six Flags and her first time on any roller coaster other then the county fair dragon one.

We got to the park, I saw it was not crowded and rejoiced

Triple Play was first. My Dad, who came merely to watch over us and get good excersize, stayed and took some photos:

It was a one-cycle wait. I wanted to do Whizzer - because I love it of course and, I wanted to warm up Kat to the rides slowly. Sadly, Whizzer was stuck at the top of the lift. *sigh* I didn't want to push Kat and she didn't want to be pushed, so we went on Ricochet (one cycle wait):

It was fun, I love looking down at the riders below you as you're up in the air. Fun stuff.
I wasn't sure if Whizzer would be open, and I didn't want to go over there and see that it wasn't, so we tried River Rocker to buy some more time. Somehow, though, it didn't complete the cycle and we were stuck at the end. Finally, we were able to get out after about 10 minutes. And another disappointment: the camera died! So I wasn't able to get any more! Oh, well. Other opportunities.
Revolution, next. Walk-on since we got there as the cycle was ending. I sure love the forces on this ride!
Well we were a ways from Whizzer so I thought I'd get Kat on Spacely's to "get the feel" of roller coasters. Walk-on, back row, fun little ride

I'm not sure what possessed me to do this but I tried to force Kat on Batman. Well, not really forced, she did really want to but was really scared. It was a short line and she waited with me, alternating saying "I'll go on" and "No, I won't" then I realized she was quite pale and literally shaking so I gave her my shoes to hold while I rode. Middle row, say, 10 minute wait? About that.
While I was on the lift and peered over and saw - yay! Whizzer was open. We headed towards that next and I saw it was currently broken again....ach...I figured we would wait it out. We did and it was fixed, we got on in about 15 minutes for second to back row. She really liked it so we graduated to Demon. She was really scared about that one since it was her first upside-down ever but she loved it!! One cycle wait (yes!!)
We were getting hungry as you can imagine, so we headed out to the car to eat the sandwiches we had packed. I changed into a warmer shirt =P
I really wanted to do Viper but Demon was practically a walk-on so for the sake of Kat loving it we rode again. Then it was time for Viper!!!!!!!! It was a 5 minute wait for second to front. It was fun, as the Viper always is.
Now, this is where I started to lose track of when we rode the rides. I know we went on Demon once more, then Viper twice. I graduated Kat to Iron Wolf and Batman. On Iron Wolf we got--stuck!! On the lift, mind you! There was the incident with River Rocker and at the end of Whizzer we had to wait about 10 minutes...but it was kind of scary. It seemed way longer then the actual 10 minutes it was. I've never gotten stuck on a roller coaster so yeah, it was something new.
I know the other rides we got on was River Rocker, and it didn't break that time

Lastly....we were getting off Demon as I realized I wanted to try the Eagle for the first time in 2 years. Back then I wasn't as accustomed to the coasters as I am now and I didn't like it. There's a whole long story connected to that, but the bottom line is, I wanted to try it again. Kat saw the drop and freaked out. I have to admit I was quite nervous. Okay, really nervous. I even prayed right before we left =P 25 minute wait.
Well, I LOVED it!!!!!! I officially conquered my fear of every roller coaster in the park. Except for Raging Bull. Though, I do believe and I really do believe I would have gone on it, had it not been closed because of the stupid wind. Again there's a whole long story connected to that. I have gone on RB 3 times.
So we rode it again 3 more times!! Once we got to stay in our seat since there was no on in our row waiting.
Yesterday, though cold and rides closed, was a GREAT day. Kat officially LOVES the coasters now!

P.S. I hope the pictures work.
