Oh man.....
I don't think I can wait that long!
So, I grabbed my Megan...
and we were off to Virginia!
First stop,
Some random McDonald's in Ohio for breakfast, yay! Man, I eat that crap like it's food!
Listen, I know you don't wanna hear all the boring stuff, so I'll give you the abridged version.
We drove a lot, saw lots of empty fields, found traffic, agreed that Maryland sucks, found that Pennsylvania rocks, and , yes, even got pulled over...
Awwww yeaaahhh.
Throughout the trip, the temperature thankfully kept getting higher and higher.
It even got to be around 98 when we hit Virginia.
Oh, one more thing.... we also found something called "H Mart"
For those who are too sophisticated for the letter "K".
After a day of driving, we finally made it.
Busch Gardens Europe, yeah!
First up?
The Griffon.
We got there nearly a half hour after opening, so it was about a twenty minute wait.
I am a fan of these signs.
This was very cool, it was a safety video for the ride that was playing in the queue. Very excellent idea.
Megan is scurred.
And the folks in the booth were having a really swell time messing with people before their ride.

Griffon was a pretty cool ride. Not nearly my favorite at that park, but it was pretty fun. And at the very least, it's very photogenic.
Something about this disturbed me greatly.

What an excellent ride and very well themed!
They even had skis on the back of your "ski-lift".

What was weird was that the had this "extra row" thing... it confused me a bit...
Children anger me.
Curse of Darkastle was very excellent. It's this 3-D simulator thing that's very similar to Spider-man at IOA. It was pretty kick ass.

This my friends, is a great ride. Probably my favorite out of this whole trip.
It had height, air, and the freedom of movement that I think makes a great coaster. Not to mention it played with the landscape so well. It was mighty fun.
The last coaster to hit at Busch Gardens was Lochness Monster. This was a great old school coaster. The best part was the seemingly endless tunnel.
And the crew was great! You could tell they were having a blast!
Around lunch, the crowds were picking up. Megan and I decided to catch a ride on one of them sky tub things.
"Yay! Skytub!"
"Yay! Miserable from allergies!" And I still am.
Riders shall what?! Oh my God, is this a common occurrence?
Flying through the air with the greatest of ease.
Wow! Look how green it is! It's barely even green in Illinois, right now a week later!
Puppies!
The sky tubs offered some great angles for Griffon.
Like I said, it's very photogenic.

After a ride on the fairly decent Escape From Pompeii
and eating some delicious Dip N Dots
We went around hitting some of our favorites. (That's hard to do when they're all your favorite.)
This lady bending over in the pink, however, is NOT a favorite.

Griffon, however,
We did not ride again.
But like I said,
It's very fun to take pictures of.

As night quickly crept up on us, we decided to munch on some funnel cake.
And we did. And it was good.
The day was quickly wrapping up so we dodged geese on Apollo's Chariot
and saw this hilarious sign on Big Bad Wolf.
Busch Gardens was a great park. Every coaster was fantastic! And that's no easy task.

The next day...
We woke up to the sound of wet.
I never knew such tiny little drops could cause so much unhappiness.
Well, we weren't going to let it get us down. Today we were going to
King's Dominion in the rain, yay!
Oh man, it's so wet!
I'm having a good time....
To our surprise, the park was actually open and running rides!
Yeahhhhh ponchos! A perfect souvenir to remember this day.

Okay so, it's tough taking pictures in the rain, so I'll do the best I can.
Backlot Stunt Coaster was great! I liked it a lot.
Anaconda was fun and painful. I liked that it was over water.
Flight of Fear was great! We had the best time on this cause it was indoors. However, it was a great ride any how.
and even though it was raining, Volcano was a blast! ...Literally.

Oh hi, Dominator. Good luck on your inaugural season.
King's Dominion was fun too, even though we were soaked and miserable. I'd like to go back just to experience it the way it was meant to be experienced.
