Flying coaster (Manta) at Sea World.

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Wow, these animations look kickass. Looks to be a flying B&M with great theming.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

It does look great!! I'm not a fan of flying coasters, but this one looks like it should be a great ride.

Here an *abridged* version of what DIBB took down (I'm guessing they were asked to take it down).

I didn't get to see the video, but from the pictures on the site Jon linked to, it seems pretty neat. It's cool that Sea World will have two unique coasters now.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

It's about time a park has attempted to design a flying coaster that engages water! I've always wondered what that would be like, and if it skims the water like that, this should be one incredible ride!!!!

Here is what I said on Coaster Crew about the B&M Manta Like Ride.

"It said that it will be part coaster/ part animal attraction so here is my thought.

Animal: The queue line will do something like "Terrors of the Deep" thing but it will only be stingrays and information booths with Stingray information and facts.

Coaster: The coaster which is said to be stingray themed will continue on the theme and might even feature a plexiglass tunnel through a stingray pool and the exit will continue near the Queue line area and end in a Stingray themed Gift Shop."

Since Probably Nobody Knows, don't insult!!

Apparantley in one of the pictures it shows the coaster going through a building, so your pool theory could prove right CoasterBoy.

This could just be some really good Busch artwork like it always seems to be.
Anyone remember the original ROTM sketches?

Ha, I didn't even notice that! That does look awesome! Hopefully I get to ride it next summer with my family if it's open by then which I'm assuming it will be. There's a good chance about the whole tunnel thing. Would be cool if they did have stingrays in a glass tunnel as you walk through for the queue line.

I also wouldn't mind if they put a midcourse break run in the ride (after the somewhat intense coaster portion) and the ride slowely roams over different exhibits, that would be really cool!

/\ This coaster is staying true as the construction walls have been up for a while and preparing the land. I have seen this personally, but I am upset that the penguin statue is now inside the construction site, so I can't go see it until it reopens.

This ride does look great. I actually like the idea of flying though some kind of building. I think it'd be pretty cool. Looks like this one will be a fun one to ride.
