A disturbing documentary on a deadly accident at SFGAdv

If anyone can remember the accident that happened on a haunted house called "haunted castle" this documentary talks about what happened and what followed.

In short SFGAdv built a walk threw haunted house made out of trailers. The trailers were lined with flammable foam and had 2 exits. One of the exits was known to be chained shut. One day, a teen could not find his was threw and lit the foam on the wall engulfing the entire attraction in flames. 8 teens lost there life that day. And SFGAdv did nothing as of sympathy for the family's didnt even put up a memorial.

It may seem long, 45 mins, but it is very interesting and disturbing at the same time. I really suggest that you check this out.

It kind of goes to show how "selfish" and "evil Six Flags can be.

Well I was talking about the last part of the video mainly. And it was an attraction on Six Flags property. If you would have watched the video, it even says they turned down proposals of sprinklers and extra emergency exits.

Also, I think having a virtual "escape haunted castle" ride is wrong. Its basically a virtual reenactment of what happened when it was on fire.

The only thing disturbing about this video is the fact that the 5th video goes from a documentry about a terrible event to that of a Sunday Church sermon.

I'm not a religious person, and its not something I'm proud of. But I even found the fact that Six Flags had no sympathy for the family's at all. Not to mention, the simulation of the Haunted Castle.

I understand its a big business, and even though if it wasn't there fault...don't you think its wrong that they are just ignoring the situation without any compassion?

Six Flags is more then one person, I don't know if you noticed that thousands upon thousands of people work for Six flags. If you think that not every singler person who could have possibly prevented that accident felt guilty, then you're a total idiot.

I'm not saying that Six Flags, A whole wasn't in the wrong, this topic, however, is approaching it in a small minded and totally ignorant way.

I didn't care for it. It was poorly written, there were many unnecessary transitions, the narrator was annoying, and it had no real flow to it. It would be very interesting if it were better made.

Sad that people died in this attraction may they Rest in Peace. Lets just hope TDK will have enough emergency exits or the employees well trained for an emergency just in case a disaster like this happens since its indoors.

Well, its just the fact that you never know what might happen. Remember Six Flags not getting a permit for TDK and the Haunted Castle. I understand that all three parks are ok now and there are many new fire codes that must be in place. And since it is a permanent structure, it will have sprinklers, fire alarms, ect.

But, what do you think would happen if there were to be a fire? And would all the employees be well trained for almost all possible dangers.

If you are seriously doubting the Six Flags rides department's safety, you've obviously never been to another Six Flags Park, or in fact a disney park, god do I feel unsafe at disney. "tug on your seatbelts!" Is the only indication they make about even caring about your safety.

I'm not disturbed by the 'church sermon' on the 5th video. In fact, you can call me one of those 'religious mutts'!

Why the US didn't outlaw the use of polyurethane foam in public functions beats me. A similar incident, like the one in the Station nightclub in Rhode Island, occured years ago. And Great White, the band that played there, and its fans, mistook it as part of the show. The thought of that concept itself to me is more haunting than any haunted house in the world.

I didnt say that! All I asked was if they would be trained properly. For example, I deal with this alot, you could be a trained lifeguard and work at a pool. Does that mean that you know how to deal with an emergency situation? What if someone is next to you with a heart attack, would you be able to react properly?

And I have no idea what your talking about at Disney. What Disney are you even talking about? I have never felt unsafe at a Disney park.

The reason for Disney having you check your own seatbelt is due to legal reasons. If a Disney cast member touches the seatbelt, they take responsibility for it, when you check it, you're taking that responsibility into your own hands.

Don't get me wrong, I love disney, and I know realistically that I'm safe. But after being so used to SFGAm's way of doing things "Tug on your seatbelt" felt a wee bit...uh...different.

^^^ In emergency situations, there are certain procedures to follow...as training with anything, you can be extensively trained like no tomorrow, but the initial "shock" so to say doesn't really come into effect until something actually happens. It's kind of sad to think about it that way, but going through the motions helps only to a point is what I'm trying to say.
