Six Flags is showing off their new 2008 commercials and I wish the Old Marriott/ Six Flags Commercial style was being used. As an Asian, I find it a little stereotype-ish and the commercial looks in the same style as the 07 commercials.
How is that guy more appealing than Mr. Six. Mr. Six actually made people laugh but that oriental guy is just kinda weird. He is even on the home page of SFGAm advertising with a season pass.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)
Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades
It's a very lame new commercial, that's for sure...and Discovery Kingdom's wasn't much better. Gosh, i sure hope they make a Dark Knight commercial, rather than sticking to one of these for our park!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
^Because it's wierd having an old man gather kids and put them in his bus to Six Flags.....it's not very family oriented....he doesn't let the parents come with
I was a HUGE fan of the commercials from 1997-1999, they were the peppy ones with great music, awesome footage from OUR PARK and really well done...it made me want to go to Six Flags even more!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter

Hehe, I actually hope for the day where I see Mr. Six make a triumphant return in a pimped out version of the Six Flags Bus.
And how is scary Asian game show host more family oriented than Mr. Six?
Oh it's not, this is definitely a set back in terms of advertising. I would almost rather they just bring back that crazy commercial last year where the rides come out of the ground in that suburban street.

I have also been noticing that During Shapiro/ Snyder Six Flags slogans have gone really downhill.
2006 : Six Flags- Have a Happy 45th
2007 : Six Flags- You Are Here
2008 : Six Flags- More Flags, More Fun
Keep in Mind Shaprio used to work for ESPN.
Heck, I could think of Better Slogans
2006 : Six Flags- 45 Years Of Fun & Six Flags- 45 Years Young
2007 : Six Flags- Too Much Fun For Just One Day
2008 : Six Flags- Where Smiles Last Forever
