I'm planning on making a trip to Kennywood this summer, with a stop at Waldameer. I was at Waldmeer a few years ago and had a great time.

Ravine Flyer II looks like it will be an awsome coaster.

When I go to Pennsylvania next year I'm stopping by Hershey, Waldameer, and Kennywood. I've never been to Kennywood but my dad has many times when he was a kid in the 60's and 70's.

It's so crazy that this size of a coaster is going into this small of a park! We were on our Niagara Falls vacation in 2002 and we stopped in Erie for the night. First off, i was surprised there was an amusement park in that town and secondly, i was surprised at how awesome the layout for the park was. We didn't go in it, but it's built right on that bluff....the view will be incredible from the first hill!

I'm also quite happy that they ended up getting this thing, they've been trying for years. When we were there 6 years ago, they were taking donations for the ride and asking people what they would think of such a ride. To think i just laughed and said that was never going to happen.

I was wondering why a coaster like that was going in to that park. I was on RCDB and was looking at how small the other coasters are.

^Yeah, it's a cute little park. It was around the size of/a little bit smaller than Holiday World (which also got a huge coaster two years ago)

I hate that computer voice thing. Other than that, the ride looks great!

I found the voice thing knida funny. Like when you reach the top he says "Hold On!" and "A squeaky left turn" and he also says "wow" in a low deep non-excited voice.

That's not computer generated.

That's actually the manager of the park.

I knew it wasn't computer generated but I didn't know it was the park manager's voice.

He was at NCC. An awesome speaker/voiceover guy he is not. Not quite a Tom Spackman Jr. but he ranks up there :)

Seems like a good guy though who genuinely cared about the park and the new ride.

Going to try and make it up there for a ride before it falls apart like it seems Gravity Group rides tend to do.
