Favorite wood: not many choices, but Viper (probably would be anyway) I love how you go up really fast and just inch over the drop.
Steel: tie between Rock n Rollercoaster and Everest. On everest you have to ask for the back row and ride on the right side. You will not be disappointed. on Rock n rollercoaster, when the lines are long (this applies to EE too) take the single rider line. And talk to workers. You get perks. Steel is probably gonna change cause we're gonna go to CP this summer.
Let's see... 12 days til colonoscopy (appt got moved :D ) No school today :D
i know. I hated it the first time up because youre WAY above HH and i freak out at about 30 feet (i still haven't gone on Whizzer). I know i'm a wuss but i don't care. what should i go on at CP? i'm going on TTD, MF, MXL-200, Raptor, Mantis, Gemini, Maverick, and corkscrew. Anything else? (oh, and probably WT)

TTD doesn't use LIM. It uses a cabled launch, which I believe is generated by compressed air and the brakes fins with hydraulics, which is a complicated system. I believe that TTD does use friction brakes, but I may be wrong.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
Dragster does use a cable to move the train, it's powered by the release from a hydraulic accumulator system. The nonfixed brake fins on the launch are pnuematic (hopefully raised mechanically and lowered pnuematically, but I wouldn't put it past Intamin to do it vise versa). The final brakes on the ride are fixed in place brake fins. All braking on the ride is frictionless magnetic eddy current brakes, aka a linear inductive dynamic braking system if you will. And what actually stops and then holds the train is kicker tires that are locked in place (until they turn on and move the train)
