Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Galvan on September 15th, 2003, 7:40 pm
Heres a rather interesting post. Now that i can actually talk and compare the 2. DejaVu vs. V2. Having ridden them both. Hands down with out a doubt DejaVu is better. In fact after riding V2 i felt, That was it? I still think the ride was pretty cool but maybe since i was near the back, that i could be a little biased. But this is why this site was created.... to talk about GA.Post Here

I have to agree. I think Deja Vu is the best ride in the park. I like V2 and I always have fun on it but there is no way that its as good as Deja Vu in my opinion.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

But guys cmon...you gotta admit the first row of V2 is awesome. You feel like you are going to fly off the corkscrew on the second pass. I think that is what makes it better than deja vu.

No contest! V2! Its my favorite. But most people here seem to favor DeJaVu. To me all its just a V2 w/o the launch and less freefall. I could care less about loops. Back seat on V2 just can't be beat.

I like DV just a bit more. I love the back row on DV and the front on V2. Those are the best rows for those rides in my opinion.

deja vu by a long shot ,v2 is good but it dosnt compare to deja vu.deja vu is the only one in the park that actually scares me expecaly when ur between a clicks and ur almost falling out of ur seet on the first tower

V2.... On V2 i'm excited.... On Deja Vu i'm thinking... will i get out alive?! lol just kidding. Deja Vu is a nice experience... But i think the launch and the back brake on V2 beats DV...

V2. Yes Deja Vu is very good front row but it's awful anywhere else. The next car way to close therefore gives you very little leg room. Also I find it to be on the rough side. V2 just gives such a rush.

The first 4 or so rides on V2 I thought were awesome, it was a great ride. But since then, maybe its the fact that I have rode it so many times I don't know. Too me it seemed I stopped enjoying V2 once I started to get on Deja Vu.Deja Vu was just incrediable....it's Vertical towers kicked V2's vertical tower's ass. And seeing as how my favorite part of V2 was the vertical tower, after experiencing Deja Vu they didn't feel as thrilling. So that leads me to say Deja Vu kicks its ass :).V2 isn't even in my top 10 of coasters at the park, I just don't find it thrilling anymore and I refuse to wait in line over 5 minutes for it.

So, Dave, if it's not in your top 10 at the park, that means its your least favorite, and you'd rather ride Spacely or Demon all day? Are you on crack?

We have 12 coasters at our park Travis, if you count Eagle as 2 which I do. It's number 11 on my list (which doesn't even exist) with Spacley's right behind it. I would rather ride Demon over V2, I think its a better ride. V2 is boring.

I don't mean to sound rude or mean, but the only reason you guys don't like some coasters is becuase you ride them too much... I'm sick of hearing people saying things like I don't like it any more because its boring, I have heard this many times about V2, S;UF, evern RB sometimes.... I know thats just your oppinion but I just felt that i had to say it.... If you space your times out on riding them then you will like it more....Sorry, but I just felt it had to be said....

I've rode V2 maybe 5 times this year only. I still think its boring. Ive rode every other coaster more then V2 this year and still like them, so its really not a case of overriding it this year. Its a case of the ride being boring.

V2 and Deja Vu..Wow.. Hard choice. I like them both equally. V2 is so intense and exhilirating. The launch scares me every single time, I love the wicked spiraling the second time up the first spike.. I love the speed, and I love how everyone screams when the breaks hold you on the back spike. I also like how there is water around it.Deja Vu-- an entirely different, and amazing experience by itself. The lift backwards up the tower is so scary and again, its fun to hear everyone totally screaming when you freefall, which also scares me everytime. The loops are so much fun, and going backwards you have like no idea which way is up.They are both equally great. And probably the top scariest roller coasters at the park.
Welcome to Millenium Force.
