When, In god's name, did Six Flags Get Involved with CSI?

This sounds like a really neat new show for SFMM, and quite frankly...I want one up here at SFGAm. (Seems like a great use for Wilderness or Quarry) I just thought I'd post this to hear other peoples reactions, or am I the only one who didn't know about this?

that sounds cool. Hopefully it works out for them, and it's not a disaster like Spygirl was here.

I remember one episode (forget which CSI it was) that involved a roller coaster crash. The coaster looked like the Galaxy coaster at IB. I don't know which park / coaster was used in the show, but the coaster in question was a Galaxy coaster.

I also remember at one point in the show Gil Grissom was talking with the "head" of maintenance at the park where the accident took place. During that scene, one of them mentioned SFGAm, specifically, the Eagle. If I remember right, the maintenance guy at the park where the accident took place used to work maintenance on the Eagle (at least in the story line).

I agree that it does sound like a cool idea, and I hope it works out for SFMM.

In the early seasons of CSI, Gil was a coaster junkie. I remember one episode where a kid was going to jail for murdering his friend while high and it got to Gil so much he went and rode Manhattan Express to calm himself.

Does anyone know when we got involved with CSI? I don't know which production company produces it, except that it is on CBS....

I think it's an interesting concept, and it sounds more like a Disney/Universal style "walk through" type show than a stunt show....maybe that kind of route will suit the masses better than just another show (no matter how famous the writer is)

I can't imagine how much something like that costs to insure... Imagine if it was damaged in some way while people were on it.
