Northeastern Road Trip

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby XtremeCoasterguy on January 15th, 2008, 2:10 pm
I'm planning a road trip to the Northeast region. Park that I'm planning to visit include: Dorney Park, Hershey, Kennywood, Knoebels, Six Flags Great Adventure, Astroland, Six Flags New England, Six Flags Great Escape, Darien Lake, Canada's Wonderland, & Michigan's Adventure. I plan to visit each of these park, time and weather permitting as they are not the only stops on my two week trip. Right now I believe I will be leaving Mother's day weekend in May through the Memorial Day weekend. What I was hoping for was some insight to any of these park people on here have been to during this time period of the year and things that I can expect, other then the typical end of the year school trip crowds. Also how useful are the gold flash passes at SFGAV, do you still wait in line for a short amount of time or is it when its your time to be on are you put on the next train out? I was also wondering how accurate Whentoride.com is compared to actual time people here have experienced, especially at Canada's Wonderland. Hope some of you can help me out, and I appreicate your help!

^ I am doing a similar trip this summer also! But Im telling you right now, there is no way you will be able to get all those parks in within one trip...unless you take off of work for 2-3 weeks. We are doing a one week trip so we have to cut out alot of parks.

BTW, where exactly do you live "north of milwaukee".

I live in Washington County (West Bend).
