"Today’s internet fun posting has got to be one of the oddest and most likely never to be built themed attraction ideas I’ve ever heard of. It seems a couple in Haiti want to create a small park attraction called Memory Village that will attempt to re-create the experience of being a slave. Tourist can opt to be only a spectator or they can participate which will involve being kidnapped, dressed in traditional African clothing, chained, forced to march to a slave ship for a fake crossing of the Atlantic. Upon arrival they will be brought to a market where they will be sold to a slave owner, tortured in quarantine and put to work. At the end of the 12-hour experience they will take part in a slave rebellion."
Wow.

except for being dressed in an African outfit, sounds like a fairly normal day at any of the second tier SF parks.

It sounds fun.....
I wonder how many people will actually do this with the "actual" whipping/torture. Because it sounds awful. But then you would get those weird people who like this kind of stuff to go there

^ I wondered the same thing. I can't imagine too many people enjoy getting tortured.
