This incident happened at the top of the 10pm News broadcast Sunday Night. The anchor was talking about the weather conditions hitting the Chicago area and was sending it out to a field reporter when the car hit the glass store front windows.
Police have arrested the man in connection with this accident.

That was weird as hell to see live.
The best thing was at the end of the newscast he was broadcasting next to the van by the window.

^He did do it on purpose. People who were standing outside the studio said he was made like 4 u-turns and each time he came around he said move out of the way.

This is absolutely absurd. I know it was late and all, but a lot of people (myself included) are downtown roaming the sidewalks at that time of night. He's lucky he didn't run anyone over. Especially with the Red Line stop right there, how did he know if someone was going to come out of the staircase and get run over!?! I know it's funny to a certain degree, but he probably screwed the chances of news stations doing these crowd interacting studios anymore....
