Apparently, Kennywood Entertainment has been sold to Spanish Company Parques Reunidos. Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Heres the link

Not sure what my thoughts are on this yet. Will have to see how things shake out.

I'm thinking that as long as upper management remains in place, things should remain the same. But, only time will tell.

Here is another link for more information.

Hmm, It might be good in a way as long as they don't change the name of the rides.

could be good or bad, only time will tell. If they keep the park on the same track it's on now it will be good, if they try to homogenize their entire chain then there will be problems. On the plus side Parque has alot of $$ and they are known at some of their parks for shelling out for some unique and interesting rides.

Yeah, they purchased Palace Entertainment which was mostly Waterparks and Boomers Anything.

Screamscape said that is should be interesting seeing how a European company favors in the American Marketplace as many crossovers haven't been good like:

Six Flags's Failed European Division
Universal Studios Japan
Disneyland Paris
Hong Kong Disneyland
Paramount Owning Terra Mitica

Etc.
