Shockwave when I was about 7. I have only been on American Eagle, Viper, and Whizzer before that. We were walking out of the park and I saw that Shockwave had a strobe light in the batwing. So I got all excited but it was about 9:55 pm and we were basically in the car. So I told my dad that I had to go on it and he took me into the park. We got the Shockwave and the line seemed kind of full. But we waited in it any way. By 10:45 we were on the ride.
Oh wow! This ride in the back at night was AMAZING! It was the best coaster experience I have ever had and when I got off I was like "It went upsidown"?
Demon and Shockwave and Batman in 94. Demon was first.
My mom forced me on Demon, she told me it was just like the Whizzer and that it did not go upside down. Aww man, I was tricked. But I loved it! That same day, I finished the rest of the looping coasters up (maybe not Iron Wolf..)
Mine was Demon. I'll never forget that first ride.... I remember being so nervous because I thought that an inversion would be extremely scary.
It's so weird how some people think that an inversion will be very scary. For instance, my friend wasn't very nervous to go on RB, but when they were going on Demon for their first time they got pretty scared before the ride.
Demon 1998! I remember being terrified to ride, but bored afterwards. I didn't, and still in most cases, find inversions all that thrilling, i'm more of an intense airtime and theming guy!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Demon in 1996, will never forget it because it was the year that Viper opened. Took my Dad all day to get me on the ride, ended up going on at like 9:30.

I loved Old Chicago. We went there once a year wile it was open. I wish it never closed. My favorite was the Cat coaster and the last few years had a hometown fun machine in a dark room with lights called "Monster of the Midway". Here is a site that has lots of old pictures from it.
