I am actually very interested to see the layout of this coaster. It sounds like it has a lot of potential. They'll have three great woodies then: Boss, Sreamin' Eagle and this.

Here is another article with the layout. It will be a compact twister.

^Agreed.

I really don't like the name, but the ride itself looks pretty promising.
So many announcements today.

I love it!

It appears to be pretty similar to Thunderbird the GCII woodie at PowerPark in Finland. Supposedly from people who've ridden, it's some of GCII's best work. This holds alot of promise, to bad SFGAm is stuck with a Standard Off The Shelf Portable Wild Mouse, IN A BOX!!!!!!! :)

Our coaster is costing .5 million more. So the theming should be amazing.

^Agreed, i'm MORE than happy with our ride.

This ride looks good, and after riding the Boss, they DEFINITELY need Millennium Flyers to keep most of these people on wooden coasters. Do you think the negativity surrounding the Boss will affect people from wanting to ride it? Man, two coasters in two years, and in the past, they barely had any...GO SFSt.L!

I'd like to see the coaster have a long, drawn out and even rampy hill spanning the bus parking lot (or at least a few active spaces). But I guess it will have to do as it is :)

They could fit a coaster in the back parking lot at GAm. It could have a chairlift to get to it...

i'm excited for this coaster. It only adds to how much I want to make a trip out there next year. Haven't gotten to ride Tony Hawk's Big Spin yet either so this way, i can knock out two coasters with one trip. :D

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

well, this cant help SFStL's cause. Evel Knievel dead at age 69. Heard it on the radio, sure a google search will turn up plenty of news on it.

Why would this be a bad thing? If anything, now they will dedicate this coaster in his memory and all he accomplished.

I dont see SF dropping the extra bucks for a plaque dedicated in his memory :)

That's not what I meant. You referenced saying this wouldn't help SF's cause by naming the coaster after him. I say it won't hurt the cause and they will proceed forward with it. The advertisement and marketing for it will probably now shift to naming this coaster in his memory.

If ACE can slap plaques in front of coasters, SF shouldn't have a prob doing it with Kenivel.

Of course with your smiley at the end, you were probably joking but still wanted to point it out.
