I am proud to be the first person to make this topic for 2008 and I am curious as to where you guys and girls are going to in 2008. I'm undetermined but it might include the following:
South Korea Parks
Everland {Korea's first Wooden Coaster and By Intamin which might be larger than El Toro and Steeper}
Kumdori Land {Vekoma 5 Looping Coaster}
Kyongju World {Korea's first B&M Coaster and similar to Raptor}
Lotte World {The Worlds only Intamin AquaTrax Coaster}
Seoul Land
Woobang Towerland {South Korea's Only Vekoma Boomerang}
US Parks
Six Flags Over Georgia {Goliath... Do I have to say more}
American Adventures
Dixieland Fun Park
Lake Winnie
Alabama Adventure {Rampage... Do I have to say more}
If this looks or sounds like span, I did not try to make it that way. I just did it in case any of you didn't know what types of rides were at the parks.
My goal for 2008 is to get my first ever SFGAm Season Pass. I'm really excited that I will soon be able to visit the park when ever I want to.
As for parks other than GAm, I don't really have anything else in mind. I'll be in Ireland later this fall. Is there anything there?
Funderland and M&D's(depending on the time of year, it's a traveling park but they got coasters). Outside of that, no idea, probably a fair or 2 depending on the time of year.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
No plans finalized yet, but here are the parks I plan on going to next year-
SFGAM
Mt Olympus
Little Amerika
WDW-Magic Kingdon/Epcot/Disney Studios/Animal Kingdom
Both Universal parks in FLA
Busch gardens in FLA.
Maybe one or two others in the area but the big trip of the year will be our trip to FLA in December.
Well, i'll be more than likely interning downtown at an architecture firm...so I'm not sure how much time i'll have for theme park traveling. Hopefully i'll be able to go to Mt. Olympus for the first time and, as always, SFGAm and Indiana Beach
And now since my g/f dumped me, i can hopefully find a girl willing to do some weekend trips like SFSt. Louis, HW, or Cedar Point...i guess i'll have to see what the summer brings!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
To answer your question if a park is in Ireland, the answer is kind-of. There are two parks there, only one has a coaster, and that coaster is a Wacky Worm type coaster at Funtasia. The other one, Tramore Amusement Park, doesn't have any coasters. Hope this helps and have a safe trip.
