Went on Columbus Day to see the sights and sounds of Fright Fest. Skipped rides on this day.
This picture has never been taken before!
This guy is actually a really cool addition.

Let's go see Love at First Fright....
Was happy with the way these pics turned out. Didn't use a flash obviously during the show.
Tinseltown Terror. Not too terrifying on this day.
Area 51. Moved to County Fair. Not impressed.
Area 51...
Necropolis!
Everyone's favorite Grave Digger.
Will you marry me?
I'm Dead Sexy.
Pumpkin Head with Axe
The Man, The Myth, The Legend. Mayor Slayer!
Pirates Loot.
Evil Clown
Cool Pics! I noticed Mr. Pumpkin head was back to normal! , because when i went on Sunday, he was just sitting there motionless minus one arm.....and the arm that was left was just sitting there in the up position as if he was saying "Why Me??" lol lol wish i could have gotten a pic of that..
cycamps wrote:Great Pics, but how could you not ride the rides???? Just kidding, looked like a great day.
LOL. Ok, we did ride a few small flats, and the kids we were with went on all the Wiggles World rides and a few in Camp Cartoon. We only went for 4 hours, and this trip was manily to take in the Fright Fest stuff.

Thanks. I use a Canon Powershot S5 IS. It has auto focus, and it really helps. We were about 8 rows back in LAFF, and I zoomed in and it focuses itself. I thought the ones I posted came out well. I have the rest of my pics from that day on my flickr account, if anyone cares to look.
I went on this day with a group of two and it was DESERTED for an FF day. I remember last Columbus day which was very busy. I didn't have too much blessing with AE because they were only running the blue side.
Raging Bull was nearly a walk-on. Whizzer had a moderate line. Deja Vu had a waitable line. Demon was a walk-on so no time to hear the soundtrack (I was never a fan of the soundtrack anyway). Superman had one of the longer lines, half-full. Most of the flats were walk-on. The food units were not busy.
The Pumpkin Man in front of the carousel and the spiel at the carousel sure gave me a chuckle. He said some hilarious quotes. At one point, the pumpkin made 'roaring' noises, sure to scare off guests.
Didn't see Haunted Castle and don't plan on it due to so-so reviews.
I didn't care for Tinseltown. At least it wasn't nearly as lame as Pig-Man was. Talk about pointless to the extreme. Scooby was far better.
WHERE'S THE GIANT PUMPKIN AT THE MAIN GATE?
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
Maybe they weren't because there wasn't enough staff. They couldn't help it. FF is frightfully notorious for long lines and staffing shortages! Oh, the humanity!
