So i just went into Flags yesterday and I noticed that T-Shirts were 11.99 and a Raging Bull shot glass was only 1.99...is this cheap for Six Flags?!!!! It seems like i've payed WAY more than this the past couple years, do they lower the prices towards the end of the season?
Oh, and another thing to mention, they have, in Flags, an official Ride Checklist! It's 9.99 and it has every ride (including every waterslide and kiddy ride) from every Six Flags park in the country in book form! You can rate the rides and log a bunch of other info in there. It's also very current, it has new rides from this year and it doesn't have Superman Tower of Power from Kentucky Kingdom...so it's got to be new, and i thought you all would be interested.

That ride checklist book mentioned above has to be the biggest thing that screams "coaster dweeb" more than anything else I've ever seen. Near each ride, I think it has data to fill in - such as what time you rode, when you rode, who you rode with, how many stars you give each attraction..etc. It's quite comprehensive, and a bit scary. I don't know of anyone who keeps that accurate of a count of their amusement park experience. If they do, well, I would find that a wee bit strange.
I also wish they had much better coaster/ride shirts. While I would like to buy these items at SFGAM there is no or very limtied opportunity.
Its sad that you cant even find a viper shirt in the park and this year i have only seen 1 shirt for RB. And none for BTR or AE/Whizzer.
At WOF they had 4-5 different designs for Mamba that would do quite well for a Viper type theme and excellant shirts for Patriot as well with numerous designs. And I found the same thing, different shirts designs at SDC.
I think the park is leaving money on the table by not offering be not having more variety in ride shirts.
Speaking of SFGAm memorabilia, is the park still selling the 45th anniversary leather jackets? I went to a couple of gift shops the other day and noticed they were missing. Also, the Superman leather jackets that the park has had for years (because they were priced at..what was it? $400, or $350, or super high amount like that) were also not on display in any gift shop that I saw. Are those for sale anywhere? (not as if I have the money for them - twas just curious ).

Last month, I bought a BTR t-shirt. They are there, you just have to search for them.
They have White T-Shirts with the Coaster logos on them, you just have to look for them, they are usually in the Flags shop or the gift shop near Columbia.
I have a white V2 logo shirt as well as a Raging Bull one.
You know, come to think of it, at every park i've visited over the years, i always head into the souvy shop at the end of my day and buy my favorite ride in T-shirt form. I don't even think that's possible at our park.....
However, I liked a lot of the non coaster specific shirts i saw at ours....

The 45th Ann. jackets were in the Tweety Store by Iron Wolf. They were marked down to $100. I used the coupon from the season passes and got the jacket for about $80.
Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
I like the mugs they have for 3.50 with all the coasters of gam on them. I think the should sell a history book of six flags gam with photos of the past to the present, and explaining the times and rides of great america. A book like that should include all the old park maps, and other small things that have changed throughout the park's life, on 200 pages. That would be a good read for a while, and for some people it can give old memories of the park.
^When i bought it a couple years back, it was the same as my Chicago and New York ones: 30 bucks, don't know about now though...maybe less since it's old, maybe more since it's new management
