That was really cool. Personally, I think I would have gotten sick on that ride, and I usually don't feel nauseas very often. But 107 flips is definitely not something that you see very often.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

I think before falling over King Chaos would crash into itself due to the unnerving amount of lateral sway it has. (arms that hold the gondola would swing sideways and contact the structure in a violent nature)

Though actually it's only doing what it was designed to do. Top Spin 2 is alittle smaller than the full size Top Spin (what SFGAm has, but I assure you the full size traveling model can match that as well), but rather than tanks, it has a bunch of outriggers and counterweights.

All Huss Top Spins have an incredibly sturdy design, not sure where SFGAm's went wrong, best I can guess is the use of sand rather than water in the tanks.

Also most rides I've gotten on King Chaos feature a single flip, though I have had as many as 5.

I am an advocate of the joystick over PLC controls, push joystick forwards, ride goes one way, pull it back and it goes the other way, button on top is gondola lock, that method of operation (most traveling traveling models have that) is totally the way to go.

As for the riders, they most likely felt light headed and were probably on the verge of expieriencing G-lock (sp?) at several points during the ride. I've done some top spin varients that flipped that furiously though for short duration, and that is basically what happens.

I liked the original cycle even though Ive never been on it it look amazing compared to our crap cycle. I really don't care if there's water in it there should be cement in there or sand to make it better.

it was a group of coaster nerds such as ourselves :)

From Onride.de if I read correctly.

Also after some investigating that was at a fixed park, though it's a park where a majority of the rides are booked in by showmen, so it was a portable model (all top spin 2's are), so rides will be booked in there for a year or 2 then go back on the road, or rides may spend only part of a season in the park. Kinda like Wiener Prater in Wien, Austria
