Hey ladies and gentlemen:I'm not sure if this topic has already been discussed, but I just wanted to know what amusement park do you consider to be the worst out there. My choice would be Libertyland in Memphis, TN (my hometown). The reason why I hate this park is because of the following:1. There are only TWO roller coasters in the park. One is called The Revolution. This is a standard Arrow looper with a vertical loop and two corkscrews. The other coaster is called The Zippin Pippin. This coaster is so old and rough that it should be burned to the stake. The only reason why it remains in the park is because the ride was Elvis Presley's favorite.2. The location of the park is really horrible. The park is located in the fairground area in Midtown Memphis. That would be the ideal place to have an amusement park, but to have it next to the old Mid-South Coliseum, the Liberty Bowl (The University of Memphis Football Stadium), a Middle School and the Coca Cola factory is not a feasable.3. Because of the surrounding buildings near the park, the park itself really small. Meaning, trying to expand the park would be unlikely to happen. The only rides that could be placed are flat rides, and Libertyland sure has a lot of them.4. Most of the parks I've been to has good theming. Unfortunately, Libertyland doesn't. In fact, it doesn't have any theming at all. There are other reasons why I hate this park, but I would be going on and on for a long time. So people, tell me what park do you hate the most and why.
Never been to a bad park before. I mean I dont like the smaller parks out here because most are kids parks. That park by you sounds pretty bad. BTW if the park doesnt have any themeing(sp?) then its just an amusement park.
I'd have to go with SFKK on this one.a. The location is bad, its in a factory area.b. The lay out of the park is absolutely TERRIBLE! It is very confusing.c. Most of the rides are bad and they have no major coaster besides Chang.
Instead of me complaining about the park like I previously did, I decided to email them and ask if they are going to upgrade the park by adding new roller coasters. Also, I asked if the possibility of an expansion would be in consideration. Hopefully, they will email me back with a response.
For me, no park has overal been the worst. SFGAm, CP, and Big Cheif are the worst I've been to, mainly because of waits, food service, and atmosphere, respectivly. Otherwise, I have yet to visit a truely bad park.
