Mt. Olympus (08-10-07)

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Driving through Wisconsin, we come upon this interesting sign.
Image
Big O, eh? This looks like the place to be!

Image
Oh wait... this is the place to be.

Image
Yay, Hades!

Image
The enterance is in a different place this time. Last time I was here it was over on the hill.

Image

Image
Hey there's that swing thing.
Image
Looked pretty fun but didn't want to spend the dough.

Zeus was first. Line was pretty short.
Image
The sun glasses cancel out the nerdyness of this shirt.
Image
MerryDeath shows us she's 2 kool 4 skool.
Image
See, it takes forever to get a picture with a train in it here cause the rides only have one train. So pardon my impatience.
Image
These coasters start to look the same. Can't tell if it's Zues or Cyclopse.
Image
My nerdyness overwhelmed my sunglasses and they went crazy.
Alot of the rows on Cyclops were roped off...
Image

Enough of that, let's go ride Hades.

Image
Image
Or as I like to call it, Voyage Jr.
Image
Missing some bolts?
Image
I find it interesting that the ops just sit on the track while waiting for the train to come back.
Image
Where is that train?

We waited almost an hour for an awesome ride on Hades. Worth it.

After that we decided to check out the indoor theme park.
Image
A credit I happily missed.
Image
What does any of this have to do with Greece?
Image
Aliens? What the hell?
Image
"Yeah! Makes no sense whoo!"
Image
Everything seemed like a permanent carnival... even the coaster.

Well, we went on some of the water attractions then. Hence why there are no pictures. Went in the wave pool which was AMAZING and nearly killed me with each wave. It rokked.

We got changed and went to go walk around the outdoor theme park some more. Oh, and we saw this.
Image
Nice.

Image
Hey look... Hades... maybe we should... uh... y'know... go back on it.

Okay, Pegasus first. It has no line anyway.
Image
Image
While I really, really don't care for this ride (especially the last sharp turn at the end), it was better than I remembered from two years ago.

Image
Yay, back to Hades! And look! The line is only twenty minutes long!!

Image
Weeee!
Image

Image
Oh crap! It's a trick!

Image
Image

Mt. Olympy was fun. I'd like to go back again and maybe finally go to Timber Falls as well. Maybe next time I go it'll be earlier in the season so lines for Hades aren't as bad.

The End.

I was there on Tuesday, and big fun was had.

I agree that the wave pool is about the sickest thing ever created.

You should have stayed and rode all the coasters at night. They are so much better when you can't see anything!

I would have loved to stay but that was our last day in WI and we left right after our park adventure.

Which one of these coasters do you have to be 18 to sit in the back row?
