Mt. Olympus

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby ttd rox on July 19th, 2007, 1:00 pm
I'm going to Mt. Olympus August 9th for my first time and I don't know what to ride. My guess is .... 1. Hades 2. Zeus 3. Cyclops 4. Atlantis 5. Opa 6. Disco. But I still don't know what order I should go in. How tall is the Spring Ride?

Don't worry about the order. As long as Hades is first :-). I went from there and just went back. It won't take long to get everything done there.

If you are 18, make sure to ride Cyclops in the back row. It's a WHOLE different ride back there.

Things you can do when you turn 18:

1. Buy lottery tickets
2. Buy cigarettes
3. Go to strip clubs
4. Buy porn
5. Ride Cyclops in the back row

#5 is the most important one.

It's 18 also Mike, as long as the strip club doesn't sell alcohol.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

You don't have to be 18 to ride in the back. Although it says, "its wisconsin's law" you should be fine. There is a difference between a kid and a older teen. As long as you don't look like a little kid the Op wont say anything to you. I rode it when I was 13 and the Op didn't say anything.

It more of a "ok, if they get hurt they saw the rule, its not our fault" thing.

Strip Clubs.

Yes.

But...for the guy who wants to go to Mt. Olympus, spare the extra $10 and get on Apollo's Swing, it's amazing.

Which, coincidentally, sounds like something that could be found at a strip club.

We've come full circle, gents.

I haven't been on Apollo's Swing, but have been on another version of this ride, and respectfully have to disagree with your opinion on the ride. The big version of the ride at Cedar Point is a lot better. To me, this ride was just as thrilling as a wave swinger. I would save the extra $$$ to do something else.

Just my $0.02

So it's 10 $ per person to ride Appolo's Swing?!?! My Dad's friends know the owner of the park, I doubt they'll give me a discount.

So Apollo's Swing really is $10.00 and is it worth it. Also is Zeus, Cyclops, and/or Hades rough? Plus, does anybody have a pov of opa, disco, spring ride, or apollos swing?

I was wondering what the brass pole and bad music was for, I must have just missed the show last time I rode. ;)

Nothing better than watching surgically altered hooters sway oddly to bad music, unless it's on a roller coaster!
