^Okay, the mid section on that story makes me very angry. The fact that there is a lawsuit on this is unspekable. And the quote is the worst part that witnesses told them the seat was messed up before and that it all could''ve been prevented. NOT TRUE! It was an issue with the cable, not the seat. So if thats the neglagence part, that is BULL SHIT! And just the fact of poor inspections too if BS because the rides at ALL six flags parks are inspected TWICE A DAY! There should be no lawsuit. No believe me, i'm not cold hearted and i feel very bad that her foot cant be reattatched, but still, there should be no lawsuit needed. Six Flags is dealing with enough as it is.
I think they have every right to a lawsuit, and if that cable was showing signs of wear that the park should have shut the ride down and replaced the cables. It was negligence on the parks part.
Is the family playing this up as much as they can? Yeah, they said Six Flags never contacted them which we know is false, and the fact that the seat was closed may have nothing to do with the accident, but it makes you think that Six Flags was still more at fault. But there isn't much you can do about it, Six Flags will lose this case and they deserve to lose it.

IF they skimped on maintenance to keep the park clean and have more entertainment and the accident was a result of that by all means they deserved to be sued.
The family is painting a very bad picture of Six Flags too and some of it was not true. I have a feeling that they are going to try to sue for a ton of money. I bet they will try for one of those ridiculosly large sums of money lawsuits. Because they say that their daughter is in agony they are in agony too over it. She is losing the most important years of her life becuase of it and they are going to make sure it never happens again.
To be honest if I were in that situation I would sue too. If the makers of the cable were at fault too, I would sue them as well.
But what the parents are saying seems very fishy especially with issues with the chair she sat on
