This game will be for sure on my x-mas list. I can't wait to get behind that drum set.

I just really don't like the drum set up.
Very mediocre compared to Drummania.

The fact that this will be supported online is really really cool though.

In other news, Metal Gear Solid 4 is still PS3 exclusive.
How sweet.

Most importantly at this year's E3 was that Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Mario Sunshine were both dated and will both be out before christmas. Happy day!

^Current Gen Consoles.

And thanks for the switch Joe, don't know what I was thinking.

In a year all the consoles will have a price cut, and being in college there isn't much of a point to a PS3 or a 360 because nobody has an HDTV.

okay, sorry to be nit picky but as a drummer i must impose

That drum set is crap. DRUMMANIA's set is way better than that but still not like a real set (obviously no game will ever be acurate but still). First of all, if you notice him playing, its set up FOR LEFT HANDED or OPEN players. So, unless you can set it up to your own preferene, it would be very hard for most of the population to play.

END OF RANT

Accually, if you notice, his right arm is hitting the high hat, and the left is hitting the snare. Which is correct except you wouldn't be crossing over your right arm to hit the high hat. Maybe that video had the drummer using a "lefty" switch like in GH2.

Update: YOU CAN NOT USE THE GUITAR HERO CONTROLLER. I have checked with Red Octane and with Game Stop. Both say that it is a completely different game with different controllers(instruments). You can buy the whole set (bass, guitar, microphone, and drums) for $200.

Another update: Harmonix stated that you will now be able to use the Guitar Hero 3 controller. Also, the $200 bundle will now just come with one guitar, the drum set, and the mic.
Is anyone getting Guitar Hero 3? It's comes out in 11 days. The bundle off of the red octane website comes with the game, new all black wireless guitar, sticker pack, a carrying case, strap, and a keychain.

Has anyone here gotten GH:3? I think it's pretty good. The new battles are cool and the song list is pretty good also.
