Got to the park at 10 and didn't get into the park until 10:30. We were going to Raging Bull and saw Deja Vu test. So we ran to it. We were 3rd in line. Waited 10 minutes. We were second ride of the day in row 1A. Nobody was coming to the ride. So we went on it again and we were able to walk all the way up to the front row line. Then we went on it a 3rd time in row 1A. But we waited an hour for it. So overall we had about 3 rides on Deja Vu in about 1 1/2 hours- 2 hours. Deja Vu ran great until 5, when it closed for the day. We never saw it breakdown until someone told us the sign was out saying it will be closed for the day. Other highlights was a night ride on V2 and Batman which was very cool.We also saw the Adrenaline Rush show at the pictorium. It was pretty cool.

Arg....I was supposed to be there yesterday, stupid bad communication. Man, I was really looking foreward to riding DeJaVu. Well it looks like it's back up and running again.
Same thing happened to me with Deja Vu yesterday, it took about a half hour to 45 minutes for the crowds to get there after it opened so the station was empty. Once they got thier though they never left and the ride closed down around 4 or 5. They finished off the line thought so they had the "This ride will not open sign" out with the ride running with people on it behind it. I only saw 1 breakdown early in the day, but it seems like staffing is the reason Deja Vu has been closed lately.
Well, usually ERT is found at special events, typically catered to coaster enthusiasts... Usually it's given before or after the park opens (so usually there aren't crowds). It's just basically a special riding time on a few select rides.
Wouldn't it have been cool if things had went as planned with the whole Deja Vu and Vertical Velocity "package"? What I'm talking about is if they both opened in May of 2001 and worked flawlessly? That would have been cool. I mean I understand Deja Vu had it's problems but I'm just saying, it would have been nice. Plus it was kind of stupid that Six Flags Great America kept advertising Deja Vu during 2001/2002 when it was closed all the time,
