X-Flight was moved to Kings Island and renamed Firehawk, and as far as Steel Venom goes, From what I understand it was the first Impulse Coaster and had a series of problems with the ride.

I thought the rides launch was very weak, weaker then V2's infact, which really isnt saying much

Steel Venom is moving to Dorney Park, they have applied for and received the necessary permits to rebuild the ride.

Cedar Fair is going for more of a family park with Geauga Lake, I would think more major rides will be coming out in the near future.

Wouldn't Linear Gale at La Qua be the first Impulse?

Where would they put it? Besides, it would take a long time for them to need 18 coasters.

^ That ain't gonna happen. First of all, GL is owned by Cedar Fair and not Six Flags and second of all, GAm is on some kind of "put the focus on families more" crack and they're not gonna stop smoking it and decide to put in a floorless anytime soon. Not to say I don't wish it would happen, but hey, I'm being realistic here for once.
Hee hee, look. I have a signature thingy um, thing.

yeah, LaQua was the first impulse, SUE was the first with a twisted front spike.

I would think Dominator will end up at a former paramount park, or at least a Cedar Fair owned park in need of coasters. Honestly I could see MIAdv, PGA, or even WOF. Though plans do change all the time in the amusement indusrty, never know they may decide to keep it, though I would imagine it now sticks out like a sore thumb.

Dominator is all GL has going for them. I'm lucky I visited last year and at least got on X-Flight though I did miss out on Steel Venom (oh well).

I was really hoping that MIAdv would get Steel Venom.

They really need something up there. Shivering Timbers isn't exactly the best woodie on the planet anymore.

years ago they were supposed to get a Morgan Hyper, but it was postponed, then when Cedar Fair bought the park the Morgan Hyper was back on then postponed, so sooner or later they should get a morgan hyper, hopefully within the next decade :)

Morgan Hypers are great coasters, but true that the park is basically worthless with only Dominator kicking ass.

Morgan Hypers are awful, much less their gigas (Steel Dragon 2000). SD2000 is the biggest waste of steel I've ever seen. I'm glad they broke 300 feet, but with those incredibly bulky trains and lack of really fast elements the ride is awful. Intamin, no matter how many maintenance issues they have, still remains as the best designer BY FAR imho.

Just moved to Chicago from Ohio, and I'm ready for SFGA!
