Left my house about 9:10 and headed to the park for my first trip of the 2007 season. Got to the park around 9:45 and got a nice parking spot. I knew the park would be dead right away. Had to sit through Spirit of America for 10 minutes until rope drop.
I walked to V2 of course. Got first three dispatches. Great ride as usual.
Next was Batman. It was a walk on. Took the middle row for a nice smooth ride. If it wasn't for me being sick I would of rode it again.
My friend wanted to ride Iron Wolf, so I went with him. Another walk on, which wasn't even worth it. The headbanging and roughness is still bad.
Next was American Eagle. After a 20 minute trek up the que line, we got to load. No one was in line on red side, so we took front row. We were the only ones on it. Awesome ride. We stayed on one more time before someone was in line for front row.
After another 20 minute trek back down the que, we headed over to Demon. Decent ride in row 2.
I headed towards Spygirl to see what time the show started. It was only 11:00am, so we had a few hours. We decided to go on Bull. Another walk on. We waited for front row though. Amazing ride. We got back in line and took back row this time. Very intense.
My favorite woodie was next, Viper. Short wait for second row. Another great ride. We kind of took a break.
The time was now only 11:30am and we had most of the coasters done. We took a break for a while since I wasn't feeling 100% after that back row Bull ride. We hovered around Spygirl again for some reason then went to Panda Express to eat. Then we sat and watched people make fools of themselves on the Karaoke stage. Since the GA Raceway was right next to it, I thought I'd take quick ride around on it. Of course I had a slow car and these girls were being rude about it coming up on my bumper. I ignored them the whole time just to piss them off.
After we went back to American Eagle. We were just about to get on red when it broke down. They told us to go to the blue side. Took back row. I enjoy red side a lot more than blue. While on the lift, I saw Dejavu miscatch. That never gets old.
It was finally time to get in line for Spygirl. I expected mobs of people in line already, but to my surprise, we were the first ones in line. After about 20 minutes they let us in the theatre. The set looked really cool. It started to fill up, but no where near as many people as I expected to show up for the first show. Overall, I didn't really like it. It's really meant for kids, but there was some content only teens and adults would get. Also the number 24 was a bit overused, obviously because it was created by the creators of 24. So definitely go see it, just don't expect it to be the greatest show you have ever seen.
After we went back to Bull and Viper for one ride each. Swung around to SUF for a surprisingly short wait. I still hate this ride. And one more ride on V2 to end the day.
Notes:
-There was a random scarecrow walking around. Kinda scary. Looked like he belonged in Fright Fest. Either he missed the memo that FF is over, or...I don't know.
-Paul Willaert was playing in SWT. He's simply awesome and plays some great rock music. Go check him out on the weekends. He's on the stage in SWT from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
-Wiggles World looks nice, but Big Red Cars has no theming whatsoever. It's extremely plain. I hope they do something with it. Looks like a car ride in my backyard with the grass and the fence.
-HH was DEAD. I was tempted to go in there, but I had no swimsuit. The weather was great too.
-This is something stupid I always notice, but why is one of Batman's trains always missing the wheel covers? There collecting dust in the Maint. Bay. They eventually make it on towards the end of the season.
Yeah, I saw the scarecrow guy and I asked him why he was dressed up like that, and he said "Do you see any crows" and I said "No" and then he said "Exactly"
I think the Scarecrow is supposed to be one of the villains in Batman maybe I dont know im not in charge of the park but its really weird to see it, but glad you enjoyed your day too bad you wasnt feeling that good. I hope its not that busy this weekend now that school is off. Hope you feel better on your next trip.

Maybe I should of re-worded that. It's not that I hate SUF, I just dislike it a lot and it's one of my least favorite coasters. True, the pretzel loop is pretty cool, but that's all that coaster has in my opinion. I find the flying position to be sort of uncomftorable at times and the layout is not long enough.
