How do you count your coasters?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Hey, I'm just wondering how everybody counts double tracked coasters for their coaster counts. For example, Raging Bull and Whizzer obviously count as one each, but what about American Eagle, Gemini @CP, Collossus @SFMM, Superman The Escape @SFMM or Deuling Dragons @IOA (this is for sure two, I think). I feel its hard to argue either way as to if the coaster should count as one or two. Some parks count them as two, whereas RCDB would count them as one. What does everyone do for THIER coaster count?

I think they should definitely be considered as two rides. They may offer different ride experiences and and they have have seperate tracks.

The only questionable ride is Kennywood's Racer. It's one track, but still a racing coaster. The train just ends up in the other station.

I use CoasterCounter.

It counts all the dueling coasters I've been on as two.
I'm pretty RCDB only counts them as one for convinience of not having to make two sepereate database entries.

Definitely CoasterCounter. It's a huge help. But yeah I usually consider them as two rides.

I count each track I ride separate, in the case of moebius coasters, I count them as one as it is one track (luckily I've never had to deal with half credits yet, though I have one more to ride in Mexico City)

I count them as one coaster...yes there are two tracks...but I count coasters, not tracks. My Track Record is good enough *cough:229* I don't need to cheat :)

I also count the tracks. Mobius coasters count as just one in my opinion.

Different stations = different rides in my opinion (Im speaking mostly of AE here). Its pretty much two rides intertwined with SLIGHTLY different names...aka Red and Blue...I count them seperate...

For racing coasters I count as one as in KW Racer or KI Racer. Tracks are the same. As for AE I count twice as each side is slightly different on the return run.

Dueling as in Twisted Twins(SFKK) or Lightning Racer (HP) I count as two.

Count how you feel comfortable as there is no wrong way to count!
