Cause its the first thing I thought of when I heard of the story too.
Worst part about the accident was the fact that the park put off yearly maintenance of the coaster a few months so it could operate this week and their special events.

But this whole story is very sad, I hope we can eventually prevent these types of accidents from ever happening.
